Replacement ballast working great - Updated review
Update 2 - After Receiving the replacement ballast it has been working flawlessly for about 4 weeks. So I am very happy and have adjusted my original review to reflect the current ballast. I have been told several times by the GenuineXenon that the original ballast is working. However it was working hooked up seperatly on their work bench didn't work when it was plugged into my headlight. Either way the customer service was great to get me out a working model and I am happy to report it is still working.Update - GenXenon reached out and was very helpful in getting me a replacement at no cost to me. They are very insistent that the problem was due to a moisture problem. I have taken extra steps to try and resolve any moisture problems. Hopefully this one will do the trick. As of right this moment it is working. I will update as time passes. I will say that GenXenon has been very helpful and responsive. Customer service is Awesome!Original Review - Original OEM ballast failed due to moisture, moisture problem was fixed. Installed genX ballast according to instructions. Ballast worked for 2 days and then burned out again. Disappointed and now have to buy a new one.

100% Recommend: Great product & customer service.
GenXenon provides a high quality ballast as well as top notch customer service w/a sense of urgency. In this experience with GenXenon, I received two separate ballasts on two different occasions due to my negligence to ensure water intruding the head light assembly after the initial replacement. Both sets of packaging was received on time, in air lock tight packaging with explicit warnings in regards to potential failure due to water contamination. After the first replacement failed in two weeks; I contacted GenXenon team and received an immediate response with helpful troubleshooting tips. Without even questioning my ability or the environment of the ballast installed too; a replacement part was sent at their cost - zero questions asked. Upon removing their first ballast, it was then I realized I still had a leaking headlight. I explained this to their team, provided photo documentation and yet at no avail they allowed for me to keep the part at no cost. I've now had the 2nd replacement ballast installed into brand new head light assemblies for over a week and have yet to experience issue. I can not stress enough the importance of replacing the head light assembly if and when you find moisture. Even though I thought I had a good reseal, water intrusion was still a factor due to the poorly designed headlight light assembly from GM. Therefore, do not waste your time, money or resources nor GenXenon's for leaking headlight assembly. Just replace it the first time!Again big thank you GenXenon & whomever I had the courtesy to work with through this endeavor. Your time, knowledge & sense of urgency is GREATLY appreciated. Saved Me A Ton Of Money!
This has been one of my best part purchases for my 2007 Cadillac Escalade. The dealer wanted to charge somewhere between $400 - $600 to fix the headlight assembly. I got this part and fixed the assembly myself for a fraction of what the dealer would have charged me. The part arrived quickly and as described. It was almost identical to the OEM part in my headlight assembly. The part was well packaged. There were plenty of warning labels on the package, and some helpful instructions.I am not a mechanic and I don't know a whole lot about cars other than what I've learned on Youtube. But you can get this part installed by yourself with the proper tools and patience. It shouldn't take more than an hour. After you do it once you should be able to do the installation in half the time. Remember to make sure that the headlight assembly is completely dry. I used my wife's blow dryer to get all of the moisture out of the assembly.I've had the ballast installed for more than a month now and it is working great.

2007 Cadillac Escalade
Amazon shipped the completely wrong ballast.(Not the sellers Fault) I had everything apart on the car before I noticed....submitted a replacement order and received it a few days later. This is my second purchase of this item to replace the ballast on the drivers side. I purchased and installed the first time in August of this year and it has worked great since. I am not sure if this will fix it but everything I have read says that the majority of the time if the headlight goes out it is the ballast. I will also mention that I have looked over the whole headlight assembly and cannot find any areas that are leaking and I never see any moisture inside the lens. I will update after I receive the new part.****UPDATE****I installed the new ballast today and swapped it with the passenger side that was still working to see if the issue is specific to the drivers side. The Seller "GenXenon" reached out to me and was very helpful. They have replaced the faulty ballast under warranty and provided very helpful insight into my vehicle and some of the common issues.
