TridentExo - IPhone 4/4S Kraken Ams Exoskeleton Case - 1 Pack - Carrying Case - Retail Packaging - Black

I have been using this case for a little over a month now I guess. I decided to write a review to let others know how much I like it. If you are looking for a rugged protective case, this one fits the bill. It is a little bulky, but I think that's to be expected for the amount of protection it provides. It feels nice and heavy in your hand. Very solid. The plastic exoskeleton (as opposed to say the otter box defender silicone) slides in and out of pockets easily. Skinny jeans? Check. Also, a feature I thought was completely irrelevant, the kickstand, I actually use a lot. It's convenient for me when I am studying at my desk to have the phone propped up so I don't have to pick it up to see who texted me. I can just glance over and keep right on working if it isn't important. No major changes in touch screen sensitivity with the screen protector but it does come into play on some fast paced games and what not, I think. But for regular use, I haven't noticed any decrease in responsiveness. Very rugged yet professional enough looking case. I'm in medical school and don't need to be pulling out a bright hipster phone in the hospital. The black is mature looking while still looking pretty hip if you care about that. The ONLY complaint I can think of is that I would maybe have preferred the silicon flap for the charger port open the other way. It flips open toward the front of the phone, so if you are looking at the screen it can impede plugging the phone in a bit. But that's just me being extremely scrutinizing for the sake of review. Not incredibly easy to take off...but you don't want the case flying off. I found it pretty easy to put on. On my first try the volume buttons weren't lined up properly and it turned the volume all the way up after I pressed it once. It was depressing the button apparently. Removed it and tried again. Got it right the second time. It has been on my 4S since. I dig it. Decent price too. I say get it if you're thinking about it.

I thoroughly love the fact that you can select your own color combinations; that you can interchange the cases as much as you would like, or have only the bumper on your phone if you're feeling like the bulkiness of the outer case is too much for your circumstance. I LOVE that the corners of the bumper are extra cushioned but furthermore, that I am not afraid to drop my phone as much as I was before ( not insinuating I intentionally do it). My husband is synonimous for leaving his phone in his lap when he gets out of the car and before with the "OB", despite the fact that it has lasted him quite a while. Its bulkiness posed such a problem for in-and-out of pocket manuevres, stretching the outer silicone layer to the point where pieces were tearing stretching or ripping off leaving just the shell exposed. And, of course, in the most vulnerable of areas.This Kraken series is legit and very functional. Thanks Trident!

Bought this for my father, who has the iPhone 4S.If you are buying this for the belt clip option, look for another product. The belt clip broke while I was trying to open the clam-shell case. Very fragile piece of plastic.Otherwise - when paired with the  Trident Case PS-IPH4S-OR Perseus Case for iPhone 4/4S-AMS Compatible - 1 Pack - Retail Packaging - Orange  - it is very solid. My father had the Otter Box Commuter case first, but that broke after one drop. Granted, that may have saved the phone itself, but this case has lasted longer. I believe he also likes the attached stand.

Its a good case to protects the phone.This was my second case for my phone the first case failed with the rubber cover that came off that covered the slient mode switch. Dust does get in under the screen protector so I have to remove cover once in a while to clean.

It fits perfectly, but the bottom port for the charging cord is so small that my 30pin plug doesn't fit in it, so Im forced to take the case off if i want to run it through my stereo.

Product does what it says, and is of great quality ( I love all Trident case b/c of the quality), but - buyer beware - this is a bulky case. Protective, yes! but, bulky!

I love this case, even though it will make your iPhone bulkier and heavier it will get the maximum shock protection, this case has definitely saved my iPhone several times. And I love the clip which was at first the main reason I got this, I'm not a phone in the pocket kinda guy, I'm clip on the belt old school.

This case feels very cheap and I will not be buying this product again. If I'm not wearing headphones when talking on the phone the person I've called hears an echo. Not what I expected at all. I'll be buying something different next go round. I would not recommend this to another person. Service was great though.
