71% Increase in Signal Quality
Here in Iraq with the Asian made LNB I've used before, I had a 7 Signal Quality and 62 Signal Strength using one of the Cisco/Scientific Atlanta Satellite Receivers to pickup AFN off of EuroBird 9A.The LNB is well made with a semi-transparent window, good weight so you know you bought something worth the extra $$, and a high quality construct. The instructions were not to simple for the expert, and not to detailed for the new satellite installer.I hooked up the Invacom Universal LNB and with some small adjusting had a 24 Signal Quality and 64 Signal Strength. All of the pixilation and audio pops are gone and I've got a perfect signal without any drop outs. This is probably the 9th LNB I've used in my travels with the US Army in both Iraq and Afghanistan and I have to say that this is the only LNB I'll ever use again. In fact, I need to order a spare just in case.

defective product
I had to return this item to the vendor as it did not work. I believe the item was defective because I have changed this part twice in the past with a cheaper one ($17). Both times the part lasted about 2 yrs. This more expensive part is supposed to last longer and get a better signal but unfortunately it did not work (it caused the receiver to turn off). The vendor was nice and I received a prompt refund and also confirmation of the refund from both the vendor and Amazon. I was disappointed but I will not hesitate to purchase from this seller in the future as I received very good customer service from them.
