Bulky, but super warm
I’m familiar with Snugpack’s mil products and they are amazing. I bought this one for my wife who is freezing at camping nights even if it’s 60F/15C. This bag is super warm and super comfortable, very soft and cozy. It is bulky though, and takes a lot of space even when packed properly. Not an issue if you are on car, but I wouldn’t carry it on my back to backcountry - it will eat 2/3 of 75L backpack. Everyone has different comfort temperature level, so choose wisely. I tried it and I figured I can sleep in this bag in 30F/0C just with my base layer. For me it would be too hot on a warmer nights, but my wife finds it’s perfect on nights when temperature is between 45F/7C and 61F/16C. If it is warmer, she just unzips it :) So know your cold tolerance when choosing sleeping bag.Overall, it is an awesome steal for this money. Very well made, very comfortable and warm. Know, that it is bulky and big when packed, so fits better in your trunk than in your backpack. If you need a sleeping bag for backpacking with this temperature rating, you’ll have to look for more expensive models - you will pay for the light weight. If you need it for car trip/camping/glamping - it’s a perfect choice.

Great for very low night temperatures and winter camping
This my first snugpak product and first experience with their line of sleeping bags. The main thing to remember with this bag is that it's rated for very low temperatures and therefore not really the best option for spring/summer camping. If you plan to camp in the winter, this is your bag. I have had only one night that was very cold, around 40F at night, and it fit the bill. I was still very warm inside the bag. For those warmer nights, take a look at the snugpak blanket or one of their other bags.Update: 1/30/2019Just tested the bag down to 10F and it is beginning to show it's limitations (it's low-end rating is 10F). At the top of the bag, once cinched up properly keeps the upper body warm. But my feet with wool socks on begin to lose warmth through the bag. Also, I'm 6'2", so if you move around much as you sleep from side to side, the bag can be somewhat confining. Great cold weather camping bag otherwise and a solid value.

Super warm great comfort
I own a ton of snugpak gear and love it all, This is my 5th bag from them I couldn’t pass $60 for such a great bag. I normally sleep on the ground with a blow up recon sleep pad my old usgi bivi bag and use the stasha tarp for shelter, I live in Colorado and camp up in and around 8500-10,000 ft down to the lower areas of the desert. We had a winter storm come in and went out after it passed dumped some snow and was really cold, got down to 8 degrees but the wind was blowing 40-50 mph seriously dropping the temp another 10-15. I was surprised how warm I was, I wore thick socks and base layers also just in case the bag failed but worked fine. I’ll use this bag durning my elk hunt next month but always brings 2 bags never know how cold it will get. It was definitely worth the $60

Light and Warm
Very warm and light but did not compact down as much as stated in description. Used it on a hiking trip so it was light enough and kept me warm for being so light.

Great
I bought this to be the sleeping bag for my molle 2 rucksack and it fits perfectly in the sleep section of my ruck. No complaints whatsoever, pretty good bag.

size and weight versus insulation
I use in for hiking and it works well. Warm and comfortable and easy to pack away.A little bigger and heavier than other hiking sleeping bags but still very manageable.

Warm and cosy
Camping this weekend was wet and cold but this sleeping bag withstood the weather resulting in a cozy nights sleep! Would recommend - as a side note I really like the ability to un zip from the bottom so I can sleep with a foot out.

A great bargain
This is now my second Snugpak Sleeper - after 10 years of hard use, I had to replace my old with a new one. This is an awesome piece of kit, especially for that price. It's bulky and a bit heavy, but the comfort is amazing. My first bag convinced me the very first time I used it, that it was a bit out the ordinary: I had been hiking in the Black Mountains (Wales) in strong winds and rain, and when it was time to rest, I was too knackered to undress, so I just pitched my not very waterproof tent,, got in my bivibag, and hope for an hour or two of sleep. I woke up 10 hours later, dry clothes, not cold, sailing on my inflatable mattress in a puddle ... this bag has kept me warm in temperatures down to -15 C

Warm but not perfect
It will keep you warm when it’s zero degrees and freezing. But the zip could be chunkier and more solid - I’d give it a couple of years or more if you’re careful. Also, the company goes on about British heritage etc but then has a Made in China label!

Toller Schlafsack.

A bit claustrophobic
Made in China for I presume people of that stature. A baffle insert is available from Snugpak to expand the bag, which consists of 2 zips and a piece of cloth for an unjustifiable price, virtually equal to the cost of the bag its self, but a necessity for western body types that wish to fully close the bag and move around slightly when sleeping. Personally I have to cross my arms on my chest and cannot move them. Not ideal in the event of an emergency. Without the ability to fully close the bag it is not going to attain its thermal levels. I feel either the expansion baffle should either come free with the bag or at least offered at a reduced price with the bag and not that equalling it.
