Small and easy to use

Good product. But size is small.

I have been sing Arkansas oilstones for almost 50 years. I like to hit my edge with a soft (medium) stone first followed by a hard (fine) stone, then finish off with a strop and honing compound. These small stones and my 6" strop fit nicely into a little pouch for my bushcrafting kit.

They are small, but I knew that when I bought them. They work, and I purchased some oil to go with them. I only use them to sharpen my pocket knives that I use around our house.

I thought I was just really bad at knife sharpening but I bought these stones and I've been able to get my blades super sharp! These are awesome, even for a beginner like me

I've bought a couple stones from this company in the past, and have always been happy with my purchases. This time around, though, I'm not so sure. One of these is supposed to be medium, and the other hard. I had a medium stone from this company that I gifted, and it was way harder than either of these. Also, the medium seems to be harder than the hard stone for some reason. They both appear to be softer than a medium. I haven't given up on this company yet, but I think I will purchase stones separately in the future.
