I bought this from Appomattox River Company who was great to deal with. This kayak is a game changer for me.. now I can fish and still get much needed exercise. I've tested this in very choppy water with no problems. The stability and maneuver ability is amazing!

The issue with the predator is that it is tippy ...
The issue with the predator is that it is tippy. The seat sits too high for the width and design of the boat. When you lean over to grab a fish the boat rolls. I had this happen first time out in 50 degree water and almost drown. I have two of these and regret the more then 5k investment. Another said thing is the tip of the propeller is too low in water to allow you to get into shallow water. It also grabs weeds and wraps them up in the propeller. It maybe a wheedles minncota propeller as advertised but the different is the powered motor spins at a higher rate of speed then you peddling. Therefore it does not work the same way. This boat needs complete new design and new name. Old Town you failed on this one.

It's great.5'6"I can't tip it. It's fast. Holds all my gear. Going slow is effortless. Going fast is leg day. I tow my friends when they are tired. Seat is super comfortable. I want a 2nd.
