Okularis® 40x Loupe Magnifier, Aluminum-encased with LED and UV-Illumination, 25mm Diameter Lens

This was the 3rd Loupe I bought. The first one is decent but I wanted a better one. The second one was a x30 x60 DREAM brand one and it is so terrible it almost stopped me from buying anything else for my coin collecting hobby I just started.I CAN NOT MAKE THIS PRODUCT REVIEW RATED HIGHLY ENOUGH! This Okularis 40x Loupe, Aluminum-encased is AMAZING. The quality is top notch I was not expecting how good it has been for the price it was. It is a good weight, big viewing glass and the LED lights are super bright and viewing anything is easy! I have used it for $50 in pennies sorting and the light still works great and bright when needed! A+++++

The media could not be loaded.  I love the fact that this combines not only an LED light but also a black light, which leaves one hand free to hold the mineral. I don't have to hold a flashlight anymore to view minerals through a hand lens. Thanks for making this product!

Okularis 40x Illuminated Loupe is a solidly constructed and refined product. From the plastic case designed to provide egg shell strength in a clear plastic housing so you can see it's there ready for use. Clarity of optics, portability, cleaning pad, spare battery, snap shut case. Solid feel and a weighty tool for close examination; this loupe has use in many activities: gem stones, geology, stamp collecting, electronics, biology, plants, insects, human tissue - for starters. What's not to like? Well, the attachment point to connect a neck strap is tiny and could easily be made larger so a broader spectra of lanyards can connect to the loupe. A belt holder option would be nice for store of field use. Those improvements would enhance convenience of beautiful and industrial quality that will put pride in your heart and a smile in your wallet for its value and durability.

This loupe seems well-built, ... it just doesn't magnify 40x, at least not the way I think about magnification. When I hold the loupe over some text, the letters are only magnified about 5 times. I don't know how they come up with these magnification figures, but I have a 10x loupe that I've had for 25 yrs that magnifies at least as well or better than this one. The company has been very good to work with and also admitted they don't know how to justify the 40x rating.

I think Wow describes it best. If you are looking for one of these stop. This is it. Thought it would be a cheap Chinese product. Don't care where it was made. This is the real deal. A very substantial product too. Not cheap plastic it's metal case means it will last a long time IMO. Also comes with a nice sleeve and soft wipe to clean it. The best ten bucks I have ever spent. Definitely would buy again.

Great Loupe!!! I'm a tattooer and use this for every tattoo I do. It is large with an easy to see through lens. The double LED's are just a little too bright with fresh batteries for what I use it for, but the UV light does the job well. Comes with a nice little case , and even a pouch for the case!All around good product. Large, Heavy, Well Built!

pretty good unless you need the light. light stopped working pretty quickly but everything else is great. it may have just been the batteries that died because i never tried new batteries so maybe the light still works?? either way the batteries didn't last long and the light wasn't that great so if the light is a big deal for you then dont buy this. if you dont care about the light then its great. very compact and it works.

This loupe is fantastic. It's very well built, well designed and the built-in light came as a wonderful surprise. I can see into gemstones like never before. I love it! And it's very reasonably priced. I'd buy another if I needed it and would recommend it hobbyists and professionals.

Impressive for it's size, strong lights, luxury curring case i would recommend it 100%
