The brass valve has lasted way longer than plastic. A must have if you leave it attached 365 days a year.

Before these even come out of the box, you can already tell they are hefty. They are all metal (brass?) none of the crappy plastic/metal combinations that break and/or leak. I’m SO happy I ordered these. The valve handles are a little tight so it takes a little bit of force to turn them off and on, but I’m not complaining…I’m very pleased. Great job Germany!!

High quality product that isn't made China. The brass material this is constructed from is visibly much better than the material used in the products made in China. I wish we could buy products made in the USA like we used to.

This is real brass, not the brass-like crap that some of the cheaper brands use. overall, it was easy to install and worked like you would expect. The ball joints open and close completely like they should. I expect to get years of use out of this splitter. The only issue I had was that the ball valves are a little stiff and the tiny lever arms are difficult to turn without a pliers. I lubricated the joint with some plumbers lube, and that fixed the problem, but I wish the folks at Bachlein had put a larger handle on the valve to make it easier on my 60-yr old hands.

Sturdy and no leaks. only downside is the shutoffs can be hard to turn by hand.
