NOW FoodsOrganic Orange Oil, 1 Fluid Ounce

i bought this to diffuse in the kitchen to keep my kitties out of the space. they love to jump up on my kitchen counters. when this orange oil is being diffused (i keep it going right above the sink), they stay away from the sink and for the most part, the entire kitchen area. so it has worked thus far, and should hopefully keep working so long as they do not learn to like the smell of citrus. that, however, would go against being a cat so i think/hope they will always avoid the smell. to prevent an unlikely fondness from developing, i may alternate between diffusing orange, grapefruit, tangerine, lime, and lemon essential oils in the kitchen.i find the scent of this particular oil to be mild and good. it smells like an orange. NOW is a Swanson brand, and Swanson has a long-standing reputation for quality without fanfare. although not a big Doterra fan, Doterra's sweet orange oil has a richer, more exotic smell that i prefer. as usual, though, the NOW brand is adequate, i trust it, and i will buy it again.

The scent does not last long but that is the inherent nature of natural orange oil. This is the best you can get for what it is. Smells happy.

I use essential oil in a diffuser to help with allergies and while I read, study, meditate and prayer. (Incense is unacceptable in our household and soy candles are too expensive for daily use.) Generally, a mixture of Orange and Eucalyptus oil are used. The Eucalyptus helps the sinuses and the Orange covers the harshness of Now's eucalyptus oil. Plus the Orange reminds of growing up among the orange trees. The Now essential oils are available in larger sizes than the local stores and generally cheaper (with Prime shipping).

this product i bought for two reasons. one is the scent is a great one for helping you to wake up actually . it refreshes the house in a great way and smells amazing. number two might be a little surprise but if you have a kitten that has a tendancy to not use the litter box and goes elsewhere you sprinkle just a bit and they will not go in those places . i use it as a block and teaching aid for my fur babies

Great oil. Smells better than expensive doterra oils I have. I like the Now Organic essential oils. They appear to have strict quality control all throughout the Now company and that makes me feel better especially when you combine it with the fact they are organic as well. I have other now oils that aren't organic and I only diffuse them. I will use the organic oils on myself and my family though. Worth a try!

I ordered this when I ran out of another brand I had previously purchased. I was not disappointed. Not only do I use this in my essential oil diffuser, I also put a few drops in my tea, which creates a wonderful orange taste. I highly recommend this product. The quality for the price is well worth it

The scent itself is very true to orange. nice and refreshing. However, the packaging was very disappointing. The cap's seal was barely on, and when I opened the product, there was liquid spilling out. When I added the oil to my bath bomb mix, the smell was lost a bit, but still there. I'm still debating wether to repurchase or go with a different seller with better packaging.

As good as an orange can get that is organic I suppose. If it were as strong as doterra and organic I'd give it 5 stars. But the fact that it's organic & free from pesticides is exemplary.

very good product
