Good for memory! Challenging!
I have no idea why I love this game so much. Probably for the same reason I loved waitressing on a Friday night. Absolute chaos, but in my mind I had everything under control. I knew exactly what I needed to do and planned the shortest route to get everything accomplished. I find that rewarding. This is a brain game. You get into a groove, a train of thought, like a machine. Not everyone could do this game. You have 10 recipes of burgers, each with different toppings placed on them in a specific order. You have to put the patties on the grill, then put the cooked patties on the buns and then correct toppings on each burger. So, you have to memorize each recipe and time-manage cooking the burgers, fixing them up and getting them to the impatient customers.By the end levels you have to multi-task plus plan way ahead so you can cut corners by placing one topping on two burgers, but you have to be in the correct place for topping, one burger may have tomato as the last ingredient, another may have it as a middle ingredient. And you have less and less time to get more and more accommplished. It's the same with fries and shakes. As with all these games, it's a collossal waste of time. But I'm sure it staves off Alzheimers and for some reason, I find it SO FUN!

Great game for any age
I love action adventure games! This game place exactly like the computer version (except that you touch the items on the screen instead of using your mouse!). One great bonus is that you can save three games at once so you and your friends can play at the same time. Another great bonus is that there are three levels of play; kiddie size, regular size, and jumbo size. I can only hope now that they develop a version for the Wii.

Great fun, yet challenging.
When I first put this game into the used DS that I had bought I had discovered that the person who owned it before me had played this game, & they had 3 save files left. The first day I tried it I wasn't quite with it that day & I had tried to play it on the first save file's level. I had a field day trying to figure out where everything was on the screen. After realizing that the save file was on a higher level I started it over. I have kept the middle save file because it is on the highest level that the previous owner had achieved (about 48, or having unlocked 48 items.) I even tried to see if I could progress by only making the basic items - hamburger, salt & pepper fries, basic shakes like chocolate and vanilla - but I found that it would be impossible (plus I don't think the game allows it.) I also found it easier to play this game on the computer because the DS screen is small, & one slight mistake in this game is costly. If select the wrong item & hit the food - burger, fries, shake - that mistake will cost money, make the customer leave, anger the waiter, & worry the little chef girl. But overall the game is great fun.

Best time management game ever, long-lasting appeal
I actually bought this game twice. I bought it, beat it and traded it for another game. Then I bought it again - it's that good! I love time management games, and this one tops both Cake Mania and Diner Dash. It's a simple concept - running a restaurant - but it gets increasingly addictive as the amount of ingredients multiply in the higher levels. Good, clean fun - and definitely a game you can pick up again and again.

Cute game
The game is cute but it can be a little boring at times. If you are down to your last life, pause the game and return to the main menu. That way you won't have to start the game over.

Great fun & challenging too!
My daughter (almost 11) really likes this game. You have to make burgers, fries, milk shakes & other recipes for people before they leave the restaurant. Kind of like Diner Dash. She likes making the milk shakes.
