75 Pound European Design Cast Iron Umbrella Base Stand: Antique Bronze

This product is what it says it is - a big heavy cast iron base that will hold your umbrella up. It is a larger diameter than is apparent in the picture, but low profile (flat). Super easy to assemble - literally just screw the post into the base. Expensive, but both functional and aesthetic quality that are well worth the price - and I am both very cheap and very particular.Couple of notes - I accidentally bought bronze because all the pictures show black and that's what I thought I was getting. But "bronze" is actually a matte rust brown that looks great. I'm super happy with it. And strangely, it perfectly matches the umbrella pole for the Abba Patio 9' umbrella I got with it.Second thing - the post that comes with it is a little shorter and only has one screw, but this doesn't seem to be an issue at all.So go ahead, spend a bit more on this stand and get something that actually works and as far as I can tell will last a very long time.

This stand is a full 75 lbs. and holds umbrella upright in wind! Great design and color broze is wonderful!

Perfect!!!! Beautiful! Holds the umbrella steady even in winds. I wish I would have purchased these ones first instead of the lighter weight ones that tipped over. So glad I have these now. Excellent quality, decorative and do the job well. Perfect umbrella holders!

So far so good. We are using the 75lb base with an 11 foot umbrella (no table for extra support) and it did not blow over during a windy thunderstorm in the Outter Banks, NC. The weight and the wide base make all the difference. Great price compared to other similar products.Its worth it to protect your umbrella.

I wanted a nice base that would look good with my cast aluminum table. It looked and worked great. It holds my 10' umbrella solid and well, and matches the decor with the rest of my set beautifully.

Looks good and weighs as promised, but strong winds on a Boston rooftop are turning the umbrella support and it looks like the screw threads are not holding.

This stand is beautiful and has certainly does what is says...for a limited time. We have four of these matching stands and one rusted out completely. It is stripped so the stand leans in the base. I contacted the seller to ask about exchanging it and was told it was outside the return window. Apparently there is no warranty. Very disappointing.

Just received my unbrella stand. It is heavy duty, which is what I needed for a stand alone umbrella. My unbrella fit perfectly in it. Can't give it five stars because I haven't tested it on a windy day. But I'm pleased with what I received.
