great tracks for lovers of 60s music.

Many like myself will remember during the early 60's tuning into 'Radio-Luxembourg'to follow the music of the day and indeed the Chart-Positions of our favourite songs, this release will for sure inmy view reflect those memories for those that did just that.Checking out the track-listings i have to admit i did buy a large number of those on-board on 'vinyl' back then,from memory we were able to purchase three 45's for a few pence under a pound.(This is almost certainly a re-release, check you don't already own it before ordering)The 2 CD Compilation includes many of the pop-idols/ favourite artists we followed back then including - disc one- 'The Shadows' - 'Apache' (along with Wonderful Land probably my favourite Shadows release)......'Johnny Tillotson'- 'Poetry in Motion' (one of the first records i ever bought).....'Dion' - 'Runaround Sue'......'The Hollywood Argyles' -'Alley-Oop' (the groups one and only hit)......and......'The Drifters' - 'Save the Last Dance for Me' (another early purchaseof mine)......just a small example of te truly magic memories harboured among the play-list on disc one......and on disc two......'Roy Orbison' - 'Only the Lonely' (just one of the artists featured on-board i was fortunate to have seen perform live backin the early 60's)......'Elvis Presley' - 'It's Now or Never' (this when released seemed to signal a change of course for the King)......'Del Shannon' - 'Runaway'......'Adam Faith' - 'Poor Me'......and......'Cliff Richard' - 'Please Don't Tease' ......again just someof the many favourites to be found upon disc two.........i have simply highlighted just a few of the great memories to be found on-board, these are indeed many of the artists and their songs we cherished during the first few years of te 60's era.At a little under a fiver currently gotta be worth a glance.

Great songs by original artists and lots of them! Just right for background music at a birthday party where guests could join in with the words!Good value.

I love the Sixties music. It's been a while since I listened to these CDs though, so I can't remember details. I know that one of the Sets I bought had some Tracks on it that I do not remember hearing in the Sixties (or any time for that matter). Some Tracks were definitely not by the original Artists, so beware and do your Research more thoroughly than I did.

I thought that it was all that I expected it to be and anyone who like me is in his or her mid- seventies , no doubt it will bring back many pleasant memories.

It was great to listen to it brings back memories.
