This wine opener is great!! Its beautiful and functional!!

I was looking for a wine bottle opener that I could add to a basket I made. This was lived up to the task. My husband was able to macramé it to my basket. All I had to do was add the bottle of wine and other gifts and then present it. The receiver of the gift much appreciated it. The opener is heavy and should work well.

Serves the purpose of why I bought it as a bottle opener and as a wine corkscrew opener too. I’ve only used a few times and it works fine.

They are very sturdy and almost to durable Because they seem to have cracked the edge of almost every bottle I have used it with and after about a month of consistent use the tension in the corkskrew itself has gave way and is not very sturdy all. I did purchase two others and those work fine so perhaps it was just a faulty one.

Great opener. I’ve had mine for a while and I love it. I ordered this batch as gifts for some wine servers and bartenders for gifts.

Made in China by the True Fabrications company, which makes a number of different corkscrews sold here on Amazon. (It doesn't say Admiral on the box, only Viski Ebony wood). The Legnoart has much better workmanship and fit of the wood and metal lattice inlays. The worm/helix on the Viski is grooved. The helix on the Legnoart is smooth. The Legnoart comes in a gorgeous presentation box. The Viski is packed in cardboard and foam. Both have a metal scrollwork inlay on the back bolster/spine. Both have a serrated foil cutter but no bottle opener built in. Legnoart doesn't indicate origin of manufacture on the box although it's an Italian design. These are large heavy duty corkscrews with a long tail on the double lever to help grip the wine bottle.

Ugh. I'm a bartender. I thought this would be a cool EDC. The foil cutter is pretty dull, so much that it takes at least 3 turns to cut. The cool looking bottle opener on the end doesn't hold the edge of a cap well, it takes 3 or 4 tries to get the cap off. Looks really cool but isn't functional.

Perfect product for opening wine.
