I bought this 3 years ago and have used it heavily almost every day since then. The graphic looks just as good as the day I received it. It's soft and smooth, and overall just an amazing product.

Easy to change the faceplate and comes with everything you need, including screws and screwdriver. Fits perfectly and feels really nice.

The fit and finish is top notch. The faceplate fits really well and installs easily. It says that it doesn't come with installation tools, but mine did. I only found this out after purchasing a tool kit for it, but that's no big deal because the tool kit came with other useful items.The hardest part about installing the new faceplate was removing the grip covers. They snap on and can be kind of a chore to remove. The tool kit that I purchased had plastic removal tools that are meant to aid in the removal of these pieces, but I found them to be ineffective. The easiest way I have found to remove them is to wedge my fingernails in the seam on the side of the controller and carefully pry the pieces off. After that is done, it is as simple as 5 screws, one of which is under the sticker in the battery compartment, and the faceplate is off.There are two downsides to this faceplate that I have found.1. the faceplate seems slightly thicker, the only place that I have found this to be a problem, it the profile select switch. It is harder to select between the profiles because the switch does not protrude as far out of the front of the controller.2. The rub rings that snap onto the faceplate for the thumbsticks to rub on are low quality. The one on my left thumbstick had a bump on it that you could feel when the thumbstick ran across it. The one on the left would make a creaking noise every time the thumbstick was pressed against it. The fix for this problem was very simple. I removed the faceplate and swapped the rings for the stock ones. The rings are held on by clips, so they are easy to remove and swap out. This solved all of the problems that I was having with the rings.

Easy install, came with extra screws and the required screwdriver even though I didn't need either. The hardest part was getting the side grips off. I know better, but for those of you that don't, do NOT use a metal tool to get them off. Use something plastic that won't scrape up or bend them out of shape. The reason they are so hard to get off is because there is double sided tape in a couple spots, the clips aren't what's giving you so much trouble and you aren't about to snap one as you pull the tape up!The faceplate has a slightly different feeling to the old black one but it's still very luxurious and soft as far as plastics go and it's not a downgrade by any means in terms of tactile feel. The color is beautiful and the softness of the plastic gives it an ethereal glow just like in the pictures online. It looks just like it does on the amazon page.I saw that at least one reviewer mentioned there was some kind of "gap" between the bumpers and the faceplate so I made sure to carefully examine what that looked like before and after the switch. I can say for sure it's not any bigger than with the OEM faceplate. Maybe that guy just got unlucky, maybe he got it from a different seller, or maybe he didn't put the screws back in tight enough (careful on the tightness, though, I've broken enough controller screw holes and you don't want that to happen)EDIT: I clean my controllers with rubbing alcohol pretty regularly just to keep them feeling brand new in my hands and when doing this routine maintenance on this faceplate, the clear coat began to peel up. Now, I'm not going to deduct stars from this because it's not really that reasonable for me to expect that a nice paint job like this is going to stand up to my scrubbing it with 90% rubbing alcohol, but it's something you should keep in mind if you clean your controllers like I do. I ordered another one and I will be using 70% much more gently on the replacement.

I'm a little disappointed in the product after I saw all the great reviews. While I do like the faceplate replacement I received (It looks very nice and professional and has a very nice feel to it), it is slightly more raises than it should be. While it does fit, it does not fit properly.There is a slight gap all around the faceplate and the rest of the controller. Also, the start and select buttons along with the profile switched are now about the same level as the face and are not raised.I would really love to give this 5 stars. I don’t know if I just got a defective one. Everything but the slight raise is perfect. (I believe the raise is from the right and left stick hole)EditedAfter reviewing the product and about how I was unsatisfied with the slight raise, I was sent a new faceplate, without even being asked. Although the new faceplate doesn't fix the very slight raise issue, I think the customer service was perfect. I believe it was the right thing to do to send a new replacement to fix the problem without consulting me.Also, after using my controller for a while with the faceplate replacement, I do not notice the raise as much.I would now rate the faceplate 3/5 and the costumer service 5/5

I love it but it gets 4 stars simply because the rest of the reviews are correct. The screw posts are a little too long compared to OEM. Simple enough though, I took a fingernail file and filed each one down ~1mm. Easily fit after that. Honestly had the buttons not been so shallow with the original height I would’ve kept them. All in all, you aren’t beating the price. What are you waiting for? Don’t spend $150 on a new one, just replace that dingy old faceplate already!

Good looking faceplate. Installed it and noticed it sits just under 1mm higher than a real Microsoft plate would. Doesn’t affect function but it is a little noticeable. Still using it.

Slight difference in the feel compared to the original, a bit more smoother than rubbery but still has a soft feel to it. It fits fine around the front, but more gap around the bumper buttons but nothing excessive. Overall really pleased with the look.

Satisfait, à défaut d’avoir la gears of war 4 ou la white edition, cette alternative fait le taff pour une coque d’élite fatiguée par le temps 👍

La carcasa encaja perfectamente en en mando y el color la verdad es que es muy bonito.

Se miraba muy bien pero en la parte de los aros de plástico de los joysticks se movía no quedaba firme, lo que hacia que rechinara al momento de girar la palanca, mi unidad vino mala por lo que la tuve que regresar, pero si quedan muy bien y se ven de calidad, solo tuve ese detalle que me orillo a regresarlo, ya he adquirido otra unidad y llego en perfecto estado

Con anterioridad había comprado un faceplate de la misma marca pero diferente diseño, el cual llego mal los aros que van en los joystick, devolví el producto y compre este diseño, todo esta excelente, me encanto y fácil de instalar, una nueva cara para mi elite one, Actualización... se despinta con facilidad....
