There are so many option to choose from for outdoor solar lighting. I settled on these and have been very happy. The key to solar lights is to make sure they get maximum sunlight, there are some places you want to shine light on your house that will not work because of this. Some place will work in winter and not summer because of deciduous trees.It is hard to get brighter than these lights unless you have lighting that is wired in. There are three different brightness settings for these. They set on a stake and can be directed even at a sharp angle, where you want lighting. One neat thing about these lights is that they can be charged with a USB charger. I could take these lights, fully charge them and use them for lighting like you might use a lantern, or extra lighting away from a power source. There is a USB cord for each light, which is not needed, one would have been fine.These do shine very wide, like a whole side of a garage for example, it would have been nice to be able to have a spot light feature for lighting up just a house pillar, focal point on the house, or just a little more narrow. I build my own little cover to fix this for a couple of spots to keep light from shining in my window. This is the only reason for the 4 stars. Great value for he price.

We discovered this product can also be used during "no power". We put them out in the sun during the day then use them in the house at night. It's much safer than candles! I made some base so they can be mounted and use anywhere in the house.

I should have realized this by looking at the picture, but since the solar panel is not adjusted independently of the light angle, you cannot adjust these lights so they point up more than about 35 degrees from horizontal.This means they are ill suited if you plan to point these nearly straight up at the base of tree or bush. Either the ground spike will not be vertical in the ground or the solar panel will be too vertical to charge effectively.I also had one take on water, which the manufacturer reimbursed promptly.

Easy to use but only last 6 or so hours. Uv had others that last longer. It might be because I have them on blinking through the light colors. Not sure if that uses more power as the instructions aren’t the best.

They look great, but in a moderate wind one blew over, landed on bark and broke at base where light attaches to the stake. But...they're nice and bright!

These are nice and bright.I have them on their highest setting, so they don't last all night, but they last well past when there is activity in our yard.They can be charged on a USB cord, if you need light on a non-sunshiny day night.I suppose, you could keep one on the charger, as an emergency light for inside.I like these in the yard for outside parties, rather than stringing bulbs through the trees and shrubbery. They brightly light the ground for safe walking, light points of interest, and create soft or strong glows in gardens and along fences. And you can always grab one to use as a flashlight.I've had great luck with other brands, and buy for brightness and price per unit. Would buy again, if I need them again, and Amazon still carries.

I had some dark areas around my property that the street lights couldn't luminate. Bought six of these solar landscape lights and placed them around these areas near the side entrance of my home. Very satisfied with the lighting and will be purchasing more for the sides of home as well.

The first night these lasted from 6:30P until dawn on brightest setting. If these last and maintain their brightness, I’m buying more.

I was very sceptical about using Plastic Solar spotlights for a very dark garden space.These lights are fantastic ! Easy to install and worked on the first day of installation.I have a southwest facing garden so I achieve around 8 -10 hours of sunlight a day.I did not need to charge them via a USB .I would highly recommended these lights .They are good value for a fair and realistic price.
