Blenderelle (Hot pink) makeup blender sponge travel & storage protective case

I really wanted to like this. Its not easy to travel with a sponge and keep it out of the mess of the rest of the makeup bag, and I can appreciate that you might want to avoid a confining bag where bacteria might grow (?). But this fell short. The first negative I noticed is that none of my damp or wet blenders/makeup sponges actually fit in without a little squishing. When dry, they fit great. But they expand when wet and you have to jam it in like you might jam yourself into your high school skinny jeans. Not easy or pretty. I have traveled with this a few times to give it a fair trial, and another complication was continually repeated: it doesn't dry. So assume you're on vacation for a few days- you put your makeup on in the morning, you clean your sponge, you squeeze out the excess water and you let it rest 24 hours until the next day sitting in the little cage with its 'door' open. It has holes- it should breathe. But it doesn't. My sponges were still wet in those scenarios. I wish it had a modification that allowed it to have better air exposure. Given this with the little door open, its hard to see how using this could be better for moisture control than a simple sandwich bag.It is pretty though. I'll keep it, but would not buy another one.

I use my Beauty Blender for pretty much everything, so I'm constantly having to wash and air dry daily. I have struggled with trying to find a storage solution here at home and while traveling. This storage case solves all my issues. It fits the Beauty Blender perfectly when fully expanded and has adequate ventilation for air drying. It also fits my mini makeup case w/o taking up too much real estate. My only complaint is that it comes in only two colors. I wish there were more colors as I have multiple sponges for different uses. Besides that, I highly recommend!

Strike 1: My sponge got a small tear trying to put it inside. This just barely holds a Real Techniques sponge when wet.Strike 2: There is no airflow because the whole back is solid and the front is just the pretty cut out slits. My sponge didn't dry after more than a day inside the Blenderelle. That will cause some bacteria to grow, for sure.Strike 3: it's quite flimsy and hard to turn to open and close. It's more likely to come apart than turn smoothly.

Great price. Perfect for travel as it has ventilation around and underneath for your makeup sponge to air dry properly. It does seem like it could break with too much pressure, so I would pack it gently if using for travel. It's perfect for regular at home use too. It's cute and easy to use. I would definitely buy again and would definitely recommend.

I do love this little gadget. It keeps my sponge tucked away and safe in my makeup bag. I can put it in dry or wet thanks to the aeration holes. I love that it is anti-microbial also. The only issue I've had is that the sliding door petal is a bit too loose for my liking. Many times I've opened my makeup bag to find the Blenderelle open instead of closed. Other than that, it's great, and even at that I'd definitely repurchase.

I like it BUT when my sponge is slightly bigger from being damp it doesn’t fit in the holder. Thus making it hard to use it when I’m traveling

I was really excited to try this out! I think it is absolutely genius. I have been wanting something to protect my beauty blender for soooo long and the second I saw this I HAD to have it! But unfortunately when it arrived today, the moveable piece was slightly bent off and when I opened the package the entire thing popped off with the slightest touch. I could not get the thing to snap back on as there was nothing to snap. Looks like the ridges that are supposed to hold the pieces together are missing, not sure how that got past quality check? I'm really disappointed:( I think the idea is incredible, but the design (at least for me) needs a lot of improvements. Sigh. Oh well. I guess I just have a open shell I can place my beauty blender in for storage. Still a great color and cute design overall just wish mine worked.

4.5 out of 5. I've been traveling more for work lately and was looking for something to hold my beauty sponge. I saw this particular product on YouTube and decided to try it out. The design is very nice and effective. The Blenderelle is just a fraction snug on my damp Real Techniques Miracle Sponge. It doesn't pinch it or anything like that, just a little snug. I have not tried my L'Oréal sponge yet, and I do not own the Beauty Blender. The only critique I have about the Blenderelle is that it is a little too lightweight. It good use a little added weight to the base as it is easy to tip over. I'd also be interested in seeing a smaller version for the smaller sponges like the Beauty Blender Blusher sponge. Overall would buy again.

While I do cleanse my make up sponge regularly,I dont do it after every use and I hated leaving it on my vanity where it looked all gross and gathered dust and who knows what..I considered buying the little crown stand that a popular sponge manufacturer sells but dont really see the point of that one as you still see the dirty sponge (and I think it looks tacky). I saw Jessica braun had this "Blenderelle" and thought that looks neat. With lots of things I see on the internet they usually either dont ship to Ireland or cost a twice the amount in euros but was delighted to see this was very affordable and arrived quickly.I think this is great, does what its meant to and is well made.If they make something slightly smaller and hygienic for taking your sponge in your bag Id buy that too (this could work but its a bit bulky for that (depends on the size of your bag).Im very pleased with it and will buy one for my sister and recomend to friends.

This product is amazing, fantastic design, lovely concept of holding a beauty blender and also travel and hygiene proof. I had a slight issue with mine but hopefully will be replaced. I am a very fussy person but this guys is a definate purchase every girl should be making. Colour is great too and it looks good in my room. Would love one for the baby blender too..

I work as a MUA and will not be without this in my kit now. I ordered the pink as I can easily find it in my kit. It isn't the most robust but it withstands being packed with all my other makeup products and into my trolley when I'm off to do my brides makeup. Recommend

Love this storage for blender sponge - the perfect solution to a messy problem! I'm new to blender sponges and quickly realised that they would smear other items without this cute little device. It's well-designed and just right for the dressing table. I also like the choice of colours so will get both. Well done!

When I saw this, I instantly put it in my basket and bought it. The idea is simple, but so useful and clever.I bought a Beauty Blender a few months before I bought this, and I kept it in its plastic case (bad idea) and it went mouldy and disgusting, so this made me reinvest in a new sponge and keep it in this case.I would 100% recommend. The slider is a bit flimsy but I think it's great! :)
