Good condition. It's Nora_ what's not to like?
Good condition. It's Nora_ what's not to like?Am collecting Nora's CD albums in the order they were recorded. While her 1st album will remain my fave, I very much enjoy this too. Some are disappointed that her albums are not all like her first. But that would be tiresome. An artist should grow & change.

So Talented!
Many entertainers want to make their presence as intense as possible to an appreciative audience. Norah Jones captures everyone's attention simply by just being her subtle talented self. The naturally gifted daughter of a famous musician, Norah was bound to become a great talent as well, and when she introduced her style, it took her straight to the top. Her manner is reserved and she is both singer and musician during her performances, solidly concentrating on creating perfection in her music without drawing attention to herself. A Texas country girl at heart, the audience is rewarded with some of the softest, most romantic jazz and blues, with the most creative harmonic accompaniment of our time. Norah's every song is a work in perfection, every album dedicated to a new style and always entirely unique to the next. Most notable about "Feels Like Home" is Norah's easygoing style as she almost whispers the lyrics while creating a portrait of an easy lifestyle with some soft down home blues.

Now this is better...
I wasn't particularly fond of Jone's grammy winning first album. I borrowed a copy of that CD from a friend but I never bought it after hearing it, not even after it had won a handfull of grammys. But this follow-up album, Feels Like Home, hits close to home to me. I heard the first single on radio and I thought, now that is one really great song. Sunrise was such a delightful song that I was willing to buy the entire album even if only Sunrise was the lone good track. But was I surprised when I heard the rest of the songs in the CD!Among the songs that struck a chord in me are Toes, the renamed Duke Ellington song, Don't Miss You At All, The Long Way Home, and What Am I To You but this is not to say that rest aren't good because they are well beyond good. They're great songs too.The music in this album have a more upbeat feel than the first album. The lyrics are deeper, more profound, and they tell the story of life with its unique poetry that is almost obtrusive and recondite. What can I say, I just really love this album!

The perfect comeback.
After the big impact of her CD "Come away with me" that won 8 Grammys and had been certified Platinum x8 and it's still on the Top 50 on the Hot 200 from Billboard after 2 years of its release.Norah Jones comes back with this delightful CD with the same style of the first but well I might add that it contains a smooth touch of Country style but sounds very good. The lyrics are fantastic along with the instruments and Norah's voice that really makes you relax and feel pleased. Personally I listen to her music at home while I'm reading or sending mails and sometimes when I'm driving and it really relaxes me.You can also find a duet with Dolly Parton on this production. If you like this production, I'm more than sure that you'll love "Come away with me" (I prefer that one).

Great album!!
Although she is best known by casual listeners for her debut album, "Come Away With Me," this album is probably my favorite from Norah Jones. It is the first representation of her range as a singer, getting somewhat away from the strictly-bluesy sound of Come Away With Me, in this album she utilizes a lighter sound, including bluegrass. I really enjoyed this album and even if you're not a dedicated listener of Ms. Jones's work (as I am), you can't go wrong with this excellent, easily enjoyable album.

Oh, Norah, You've done it again.
There was no part of this CD which disappointed me in the least. I usually play it several times a night - usually along with others of hers, especially her "Come Away With Me." Besides her unique voice and instrumentation, I am fascinated by her play with words. The way she uses rhyme delights me in child-like entertainment. I only regret she doesn 't live in my neighborhood - on the otherhand. I'm afraid I would get few of my responsibilities completed. Therefore, Norah, keep up the great job and continue to work with people who help you accomplish what has happened here. Thank you all. Have a great new year.
