Marvel: Storybook Collection Advent Calendar

My son has loved opening this Advent calendar and looking for the numbers.The books are quite small. All are illustrated on every page and have different stories about the popular Marvel Avengers characters.There are a good variety. Each book came in a paper sleeve, so you couldn't see what book was where. We've kept the sleeves to put the books in again for next Christmas, to reuse. We didn't get to read them all this year.The string to tie it together seems quite flimsy tho and like it could break quite easily.My son may have been a bit young for all of the stories (he's 4 and a half), but I think next year he will be a better age for them.

This is my child's favourite part of Christmas, he loves super hero's and this is the second year getting this calendar, my only criticism is that a few of the books were copies of last years books just with different covers, but there was only maybe three or four duplicates. Great little books with decent stories and a book to read every night in December.

Wow! It is a huge advent calendar, measuring about 21x14 inch. It’s easy to get the books out and each one is in it’s own little paper pouch so the child can’t see what is in them all on day one. The books slide out the side of the pouch and they’re a nice size. My child isn’t much of reader but he loves Marvel so hopefully this will get him to read more. I will read them even if he doesn’t haha. Very impressed with this and it’s currently priced at £8 so it’s a bargain. I’m a happy mum :)

We opened our advent calendar today, two very excited boys! What a disappointment to find books missing. I hadn't thought I would need to check it as it was wrapped up. I bought in October to ensure we had something special and fun for advent, so I can't return and replace or get a refund. Next time I will use an actual shop that would return faulty goods. So disappointing.

Got the Disney version of this last year, was pretty varied, lots of princess ( or son wasn't impressed)and old school Mickey mouse which was a sucess. But our son has reached the superhero stage so thought this would be a good option.Again, as the Disney one it's good quality books are good. As expected. We do find the books are all quite similar though, a lot of guardians of the galaxy and then individual characters from the series.Was hoping for more of the big characters featured on the front, hulk, captain America, spider man, iron man etc.Has been a bit disappointing so far...thought they may be slightly more tailored to children considering it's an advent calendar.
