It’s a multi line piping tip
Great for piping out your own Royal icing sprinkles.

Tricky to use but does the job
Tricky to use but once you figure it out makes a music staff. Needed a specialty coupler due to size.

Good, easy to use
Really nice! Good cone, neatly made. Very easy to work with, I created a beautiful decor for my cake, with this item.

Very poor quality
If you're looking for an alternative for the comparable Wilton tip, get WILTON. All of the holes were not separated from each other, creating one big ridged blob instead of five individual lines. Horrible!

Not especially useful, but functional.
I don't find that this tip is any different from the Wilton equivalent (and I have both). It's just that the tip is designed for only straight lines. Sometimes you can pull off a very minimally and slowly curved or lightly wiggled lines. If you do go straight and are working with the proper consistency of icing, yes, the lines remain separate and parallel. If you want to turn--like at a corner or when attempting to go around another design element or even form a small garland--then the lines do often merge into a blob. But that is due to the tip design and not to the build quality or to a difference between brands. While you might initially think of it as a tip that will be a time saver, I haven't found that to be true. It is a tip with very limited uses, regardless of brand. It is not a tip that will form a part of your "go to" collection by any means, but it's fun to experiment with.(I've found tip no. 43--either brand--which instead of having 5 holes has only 2 to be more useful and easier to get "right.")
