I use these for new shooters. I place them in the middle of 8.5"x11" printer paper, so that my new shooting students have a very discernible aiming point. I have found that most shooting ranges sell targets that have black or gray aiming areas, which makes it difficult for new shooters to focus on and clearly define the front sight and superimpose it inside the read sight notch to create a bridge. This target dot appears to be the absolute perfect combination of size and color for shooting at an indoor range at 5, 7, and 10 yards, when shooting handguns.For more of a challenge, I place them on 5"x7", 3"x5", and 2"x2" cards, to teach proper aiming point, regardless of the amount of visual contrast around the aiming point. It makes shooters concentrate more on the fundamentals and teaches them how to better ignore distractions to solid front sight focus and precise trigger control.Once they are consistently hitting the orange dots, I remove them altogether and have them learn how to naturally visually discern upper center mass, since bad-guys don't wear orange dots or signs that say "Shoot Here." The use of these dots for precision shooting drills greatly helps the students work toward honing instinctive shooting skills.Practice does not make perfect... Only perfect practice does. 1000 bullet hole cover/sticker for this price is a really good deal and it sure saves on targets when doing sight alignment.

They stick very well and have great adhesive while still being easy to remove from the package and apply. I am using them as targets, not paster's and they work perfect in that role.
