The ABSOLUTELY TOUGHEST Puzzle I've Ever Done
I am retired and spend a LOT of time building jigsaw puzzles. This is the single toughest puzzle I've ever built. Having said that, it is also completely fair. The graphics are clear and the pieces are all cleanly cut. What makes it so tough is the subtlety of the colors. It is a fall alpine mountain scene with unending splashes of fall leaves and varying skies. I spent about 6 months total and experienced about every type of frustration there is. There were days when I might get only a few pieces and many days when I would completely ignore it, but finally finishing it gave me a GREAT sense of accomplishment. THANK YOU!!!

Beautiful picture
My husband does puzzles to pass the time after surgery. He was doing the 500 piece puzzles within hours so I moved up to 1000 -1500 pieces and this one was lovely and took him 2 weeks to complete. I helped at the end ( when it became easy 😂. I recommend this puzzle and so does my husband.

Everything a puzzle shouldn't be
Let me first say that the painting, Alpine Serenity, is beautiful. It's a relaxing, serene subject and I really like Chuck Pinson's use of colors, however, I don't think this particular painting should have been made into a puzzle.Puzzles are usually relaxing and a great project for individuals and family members to work on together. This one is quite the opposite of that concept. It's more stress-inducing, aggravating, and frustrating than any puzzle we've ever worked on.Aside from the half dozen or more bent and splitting pieces that I've needed to glue the layer back together, so many of the areas in this puzzle not only look identical, many of the pieces can easily fit into more than one spot. We're using magnifying glasses to determine if these pieces are correctly placed or should go elsewhere. We started it 13 days ago and we're still working on this one, with no end in sight (the longest the two of us have ever worked on a puzzle was 7 days).
