I have an older Genie garage door opener and some repairman walked off with the next to last working remote control. The thing is programmed by setting ten tiny switches on or off. The switches in this remote are in the opposite order of the ones on the remote that came with the opener, so it was a little tricky setting them. I hearly sent the thing back, but finally got the switches set right.It;'s small, but not so small it's hard to find, looks nice and works well. I can recommend it, but you may have to be patient "programming" it.

Used to replace an old Genie garage remote. Take out one tiny screw, set the dip switches and works great. Would purchase again.

My Genie track drive garage door opener is so old that I have considered replacing it because the button on the Genie opener had cracked in half on one, and I lost the other opener when changing out the "stuff" in the car before trading it in. These worked well with my door opener on the first try. Fortunately I still had one of the original push button controls so I opened it up to see the dip switch settings on the old controller, matched them up with these, and both of the new ones worked perfectly the first time, and every time since. I might note that these new controllers are much smaller than the originals, have a better button, and also include a clip so it can be easily carried on a key ring if one wishes. If I lose or break these (they seem to be very sturdy, so not likely to break anytime soon), the price is low enough that I will replace them.

I liked the price. I liked the compact size. I liked that it worked. Instructions could have been better with regard to getting the back off. Simple matter of removing the screw but the instructions said to slide off the cover.

Stopped working, changed batteries, still not working.The setup is a little tricky as you will need to find the "dip switches" on your older garage door opener and set the extremely small dip switches to match in the opener.It works great until it just stops working. Sent it back.
