I found out about this product after the fact. Directions say to be applied in the fall, but I didn't learn about it until talking with my neighbor during the winter. Her grass was green while mine wasn't. I bought this in January and applied it. It still worked great! Within a short time, my lawn was greening up. FYI... I live in Southern Washington State. I most definitely would purchase this again!

Seemed to work pretty good. It was extremely easy to spread with a Scott’s spreader.

I'm in NC and fescue lawns go through much stress in July, August is due to excessive heat and the drying of the root system. Although I will fertilize in the spring and then again in the fall is a good practice, winterize your fescue before the hard freeze sets in. Which for us in NC is around the end of November. This is so important, that if you only fertilize your lawn once this year, make sure you do it in November and don;t forget to water it. I have followed this practice and for the last 5 years my fescue has made through the summer like a champ. I will usually purchase whatever is the least expensive, as the thing that I compare are the levels. Winter fertilizer will have 28% Nitrogen, 6% potash, 3% sulfur so anything with those level will be fine. This product coverage is 12,000 square feet, which was enough for me, and the current price is fantastic. Your lawn will thank you, and you'll love the look of it in the spring.

Good for Houston fall weather. After applying this to my yard, my yard didn't turn yellowish last year! I will for sure applying this again this fall, my lawn still green even during fall (I apply a lot) :P

Resodded around a pecan tree. The area isn’t totally flat. I have lost some of the sod but I kind of expected that. It’s been one year since I started the project and one winter. I used this product, some spray that includes fertilizer and weed killer, and rarely plain miracle gro spray (lightly). So expensive for the result. It looks worse than I thought.

Have purchased before- high quality product - greens up lawn and promotes growth. Has thickened our lawn up- easy to use

I am ambivalent about giving this anything more than a 3-star rating because ever since I began using this product a few years ago, I have noticed more and more dandelion growth in ONLY the areas I have used it.
