The first consideration I can offer you pertaining to this product is: the surface you step on inside the shoe is a little slick, causing me to have to get used to walking in them so my heal doesn't slide from side to side. I got more used to wearing the barefoot, which is better but of course loser so I have to put my foot deeper. But, all of that also means they are extremely easy to get off and on with no hands, and now I am used to these and I wear them way more often that the ones I have that require hands to put on.My second consideration for you is in the fabric being dark and being designed to touch the ground around the edges. Based on the design, I would suggest you avoid wearing these outside of the house, because the design leaves the fabric vulnerable, around the edge, to dirt and rough ground textures. The fabric is dark, so it will hide some types of dirt if you want to hide such things, and I think the fabric is plenty durable so that these should hold up to regular use at home, as long as you don't walk down a rough driveway to get your newspaper every day. If that is a common use for you, then you may want to look at another model. However, these do have a hard sole, it is just sirrounded by fabric that goes all the way to the ground, hiding the hard sole.Last, I just want to add that I love the gel style sole, once I got used to walking on them. They seem like they will provide padding under my feet for quite a while without getting flattened out in a way that could make them hard.These get the job done in style without breaking the bank. I got over most of the quirks of these pretty quick. I wear them daily.

Part of Birthday present

A family member is a Batman freak and needed new slippers. This fits the bill. They seem well-made and able to add a little warmth to the toes. I need to wait until Christmas to make sure the sizing is accurate, although, I did check with his current slippers and they seem the same size-wise.

I’ve wore these a total of MAYBE 3 hours and the insides have completely come undone. They are super comfortable but won’t last more than a week. I would not buy them at their price point. I value them at $5 a pair. ($4.95 for the Batman nostalgia and $.05 for quality)
