I was very sceptical about using Plastic Solar spotlights for a very dark garden space.These lights are fantastic ! Easy to install and worked on the first day of installation.I have a southwest facing garden so I achieve around 8 -10 hours of sunlight a day.I did not need to charge them via a USB .I would highly recommended these lights .They are good value for a fair and realistic price.

I followed the directions and let them charge first as directed.I mounted mine on the house as you can see in the photos using the tools and hardware supplied with the lights.So far, they have come on at dusk and lasted through sun up. I am impressed how bright they were all through the night. (See attached video)I like that the battery is sealed internally with none of the worries of the terminals becoming corroded like all the other landscape lighting I had purchased in the past.I'm sure to purchase a second set.

First night after being installed. They are so perfect. Super easy to install. They light up my driveway in a way I didn't imagine!! I'm ordering a few more boxes!! Absolutely love them. Not sure how long they'll last or if this will be consistent... but if not, I'll update my review!! Beautiful!!

I got the first set of lights and really liked the brightness and the ease of setting them up. I also liked that you had the option to charge the lights via usb if you want to. Which I did before I put them in my garden. In fact, I liked them so much, I bought another set of six. I had charged the first set via usb and that went without a hitch. The second set, however, was shipped with the wrong usb cords. They couldn’t connect with the lights at all. Fortunately, I had the cords from the first set and could also charge those via usb. I contacted their customer service to get the right cords for the second set I purchased, but got crickets in return. I mean, yes, I had the cords from the previous set that I could use, but it was the principle of the thing. You buy something and you should get the correct cords for it. And what if I was just purchasing one set? I wouldn’t have been able to charge them vis usb at all. I tend to judge companies and their products on how much they are willing to stand behind them and do the right thing if they’ve screwed up. Obviously, ignoring my inquiry was a big fail that turned what would have been a five star review into a three star review.

The product arrives in a tidy box with minimal waste. There are fairly short usb cables provided for each light, but the length is enough to charge all six simultaneously if you have a multi-port usb charger (which I thankfully do). I planning to charge all of the lights when you first open the box, as the instructions say it could take 2-3 days to initially charge via solar.I opened box in morning, plugged all but 1 light in via usb and began my install with the included hardware (I was mounting to upper portion of fence posts). I did keep 1 light for installation measurement, but plugged it in with others once I had correct spacing for mounting hardware.Later that day (about 8hrs later), I installed the charged lights to the mounting bracket (very easy).So far, the lights work great! It's not daylight at night, but that was never the expectation. The light is bright and illuminates the area very well. My son can easily play tetherball at night now.
