Hearing Aid Dehumidifier - Includes Free Liberty Keychain Hearing Aid Battery Holder

Unlike the Super Dri Aid Hearing Aid Dehumidifier by Hal-Hen, this one works great. It arrived ready to use and not needing to be recharged. I haven't had it long enough to comment on recharging. However based on other reviews I have no doubt that it will. The Dri Aid one came needing to be recharged and no matter how I tried this one would not recharge at all. Save yourself time and aggravation buy purchasing this product instead. It is much larger than it appears and should hold a pair of any size hearing aid.

Bought for father who says it works well for keeping hearing aids dry. He did not follow directions to put desiccant disc in microwave/oven periodically to dry it out again. By the time I tried to do this for him the crystals had turned green and made sparks/jolting in the microwave, like if you try to microwave something with metal, but there was no visible metal in this. Maybe it would have worked if we’d done it much sooner. After a couple tries I decided was safer to throw it out and buy him a new one.

Easy use and quick delivery

The STAY DRY Hearing Aid Dehumidifier works great and is easy to recharge. I took a star off because I wish the jar were shorter. I also think that the way it's divided inside into 4 compartments makes it harder to place the hearing aides "flat" so they stay open nicely and don't slide around when the case is moved. Regardless, it's reasonably priced, helps keep my hearing aids working, and I'm buying a second one to use upstairs!

This is exactly what I needed to keep my hearing aids nice and dry, especially during all that summer heat and sweating. And a rainy fall season. This is my second dehumidifier, the first one lasted about 5 years and did a fantastic job. It still works, although is not recharging as fast as before and lasting shorter time between charges. I have a new pair of hearing aids and decided to get a new dehumidifier for them. Still use the old one for old hearing aids which I keep as a backup. Works perfectly! Highly recommended.

One of the refills had a torn wrapper and it caused it to turn black. We were able to get it back to orange by putting it in the microwave but I would have thrown it out, my husband didn't want to.I order these often enough to know it's a great product and will order again in the future.

Hearing equipment these days is so sensitive and people need to take better care of them, even within the home. Moisture and dust are the number one problems for hearing aids and cochlea devices. This jar and special beads do an amazing job. Put the hearing aid in the jar on top of the beads overnight and it is ready in the morning. Make no mistake, this does not replace cleaning, etc. It is a great "bed" for the equipment.

The place where I bought my hearing aids wanted me to spend $50 on a plug in light up buzzing UV disinfecting box.This thing is much nicer and simpler. No plug or batteries, no lights, no fan. It's big enough inside to also hold a pack of batteries, cleaning brush, etc. It doesn't disinfect, but I keep my hearing aids clean so I don't think disinfecting is necessary.I haven't had to "recharge" it yet in the oven, but the process seems simple enough; the instructions are printed right on the outside so you don't have to save any separate box or papers.Just make sure you close it tightly all the time; this will help it work better and keep it from needing recharging to soon.
