Milestone Mummy Sleeping Bag, Black

First impression 3/26/2017: Preliminary review prior to trying outside. (used indoors)OK, first off I'm 5'3 and an overweight adult female. I carry my weight low on my stomach thighs and behind. The lower half of the bag is fine for me. I have enough room in it on the lower half to slide one leg sideways like this > while the other is strait, enough to make me happy since I move a lot while I sleep. (hope that makes sense...) Being short, I have a lot of extra poof at the bottom of the bag which I imagine will help keep my feet warm too.Now, the top part of the bag and zipper is where I start to say "Hmm...."First, The zipper is installed on the left side of the bag. The cord to tighten the 'hood' is installed on the right, and has a push button slider to keep it how you tighten it. It unzips both from the top and bottom, so if you want ventilation in the lower part it can be done. However I'm right handed with a disabling injury to my left shoulder which makes zipping the bag up hard considering the next point. Zipped up, and with the hood tightened up to cover my eyes but leave my nose and mouth uncovered, the bag is not very roomy in the shoulder area. It fits, but just fits me with my arms straight down to my sides or bent at the elbows with my hands folded over my body without being overly constricting. I was only in a t-shirt and flannel pants however. (I had someone wrap a tape measure around me and it came to 48" around my arms over chest.) If you're bigger than this, the bag might be tight.The draw string cord in the hood is NOT stretchy. It's just a thin cord, and tightened to cover my eyes (to block light, and conceivably keep in warmth, it dug into the top of my nose uncomfortably. This can be fixed easily by replacing it with something else. The pocket the cord rides in is large and could hold something like paracord, I think, but it too, would dig into my nose. I loosened it enough not to be uncomfortable and the resulting gap could be workable.With the hood flat the shoulder area is roomy enough but it doesn't seem like it would keep your shoulders warm. If you sleep with your arms out of the bag it's plenty roomy however.I'll update this review when I use this outside. At this moment (3/26) it does suit my personal needs which would ultimately give it a 4 star rather than 3, but it IS a pretty snug fit for me up top. If someone rounder than I am tries to use it, this may not be suitable for someone else if they're overweight, or have very broad shoulders. (btw, I paid full price for this item, but it WAS a VERY inexpensive sleeping bag. Probably the most inexpensive on amazon at the time I got it)

This was perfect for my 12 yr old who is under 5'0" tall. Not made for anyone over 5'4".

I ordered this before other reviews were up, and after reading them I was hoping they were wrong. No. I would not want to test this down to 32f. I would say 55f+,you would probably be comfortable but there's no way if it got chilly you would be happy in this.I'm giving this 3/5 because you get what you pay for. I paid for a bag that I could let my daughter use on a backyard camp once the weather is a little warmer. I got value for money. Don't get this bag if you're heading out on a serious camp with uncertain weather, you would be in trouble!

Good little sleeping bag for not to much just know the material is very thin.

I agree with the other reviewer, but I'm rating 3 stars based on price. I'm really skeptical it would perform under the conditions specified and it's too small for me, but for $10, I can still use it for my kid's sleepovers. It's incredibly lightweight and it looks cool.Edit: I almost want to drop it to 2 stars just because the bag is fraying after one use. Still.... Hard to beat $10....

The mummy sleeping bag is of good quality, the overall length is perfect, it is a little tight and snug, no room to roll onto your side or stomach. It is light weight and small, makes for a perfect fit in the backpack, doesn't take up tons of space. Overall, you can't beat the price.

Very thin material, shouldn't be used if not using an air mattress. The cotton inner layer bunches after one was. I gave it a 3 because if using a mattress and in the heat it is thin enough that you can sleep in it zipped up.

Por el precio está bien, sin embargo es muy delgado, por lo que no cubre muy bien del frío, además es para personas delgadas y no muy altas, ya que queda muy ajustado al cuerpo.

El saco para dormir es delgado y no da comodidad para descansar en superficie muy duras, no ayuda en climas muy fríos porque es delgado, es funcional en pequeños campings donde lleves casa de campaña y en verano u otoño donde el clima aún es templado

Es muy cumplidor, es un producto bueno y bien hecho vale la pena por su confección, y materiales, ligero y practico... lo compraría de nuevo.

Es un bolso de clima cálido y apara no estar abajo de los 10°c ya que bajando de esta temperatura ya se siente el frio, es muy ligero ideal para viajar muy ligero, cabe en cualquier backpack. Este corte momia está mejor que su similar corte recto ya que te ayuda a retener mayor el calor. Los materiales pues obviamente es de baja calidad pero es lo justo por lo que pagas. El tamaño es ideal para alguien delgado o máximo alguien de complexión media (38 a 40) ya alguien arriba de esta talla no entraría, de por si es muy justo el corte a lo ancho, el largo sería para alguien de 1.80 sin problemas, ya más alto creo que le faltaría bolso para estar cómodo.

Excelente sleeping, fácil de transportar y de armar, de los pocos que he tenido que me han servido para temperaturas cercanas a cero grados, lo recomiendo ampliamente y mucho más barato que otras marcas que son más robustos pero no protegen del frío como este
