Sturdy pedals, great price!
The pedals have a sturdy built, were easy to mount and work well. Price is great especially compared to cleats pedals. Would buy them again!

Allows you to Increase your force output and work more of your leg muscles.
I have six bicycles and have pedal straps like this on all of them. I enjoy riding and being able to work all of my leg muscles rather than just half of them. It provides a much better more complete workout as well as being able to climb steeper hills.

big and sturdy
I got these to replace the too-small pedals that came with my mail order bike. I'm a male with shoe size 12-13 feet, and I like to use toe clips (as opposed to clipless pedals) so I can jump on my bike without switching to a different pair of shoes. However, most toe clips I've seen don't allow my big feet to go all the way in, with the result that the balls of my feet are not right over the pedals.Pros:These bigger pedals are a more comfortable fit for my big feet than my previous pedals. The toe clips work perfectly as long as I'm wearing narrow shoes, such as my old bicycle shoes or a pair of sneakers. My bike shoes measure about 10 cm across the ball of my foot, which fits perfectly into the clip. However, when I'm wearing my Keen walking shoes, my feet get hung up about an inch from the end. Only my toes are over the pedals, which is uncomfortable. The problem is that my Keens are much wider - about 13 cm across the ball of my foot. They're also about a cm taller. This problem is not the fault of the pedals, just my shoe selection.Following some on-line comments, I found a small block of plastic to use as a spacer so I can mount the clip about a cm further away from the pedal. This allows my feet to go further in and the balls be positioned mostly over the pedals, even when wearing my Keens.Cons:The pedals don't spin very freely on their bearings. They feel a little sluggish as if they used real heavy grease. I don't know if this bothers me or not, it's just different than my previous pedals. The pedals are a bit on the heavy side compared to my previous pedals. But they're also quite a bit bigger so no surprise there.Bottom line is that I like them so far and happy I got themUpdate 3/25/22. The problem with the pedals not spinning freely is still present. I'd hoped they would somehow loosen up with use but they still don't turn easily. It's as if the bearings are too tight. Anyway I'm not as pleased as I was and changing the rating from 5 stars to 3 stars. And I'm switching back to my old pedals, which are still too small, but at least don't add to my workout.
