Works great
I purchased a house last month and needed a way for contractors to get in/out to work on the house before I moved in. I went with a punch button lockbox in hopes it would be easiest to use. So far, so good! Everyone has been able to use it with no issues, and it's holding up great for the amount of use it's getting. Set up was simple, it holds my standard sized house key perfectly, and blends in well with my porch railing (discreet). Highly recommended.

KeyGuard SL-500 Punch Button Realtor Lock box
Good box. I don't use it for real estate, but rather to store keys for a classroom so my instructors can get in. The keys I put in there are on a key ring. This makes it a little tough to close the box, so I have to play with the to fit. What I don't like is that, though you can pick the numbers for the push button combination, you can't pick the combination that the numbers must be pressed. Once you decide the numbers to use, you can press them in any combination and the box will open. I also do care for the fact that in order to close the box you need to once again push the numbers in order to get the latch to lock. It held up well over this bad winter and I would recommend it

Great lock easy to use!
I bought the lock to keep outside for my kids so they can come in after school and not have to keep up with a key. ( they have lost a few). Easy to change the code and setup!!

good product but low password security
The key box is very easy to use. It feels like very safe and solid. It works mechanically. The problem is that the keys work in combination, so it is not necessary to enter the numbers in order to open the box. It works as long as you press all the four digits. If you are looking for a top security box, this may not be the one you are looking for.

Built very sturdy. Love it.
I just got this today. Last week I had an emergency. EMTs had to get my key on my patio. That took time. It was 4:00am and dark. Now I have my front door key and my bedroom key in it.Was easy to program. I don't know why people are saying you can't use a number more than once. My code used 1 number twice and it works. Nothing in instructions stating that.Made very sturdy..I am an 81 year old woman and it is easy.

Exactly as advertised
This is mostly a manual/mechanical real estate agent lock to hold extra keys. I use it for a spare to the house key outside. Very durable and works as advertised. Remember to pick four separate digits as the "code" can open the lock in any order. So, if you encode 2-4-6-8... then 8-6-4-2 or 2-8-4-6 will also open the door. It will keep an honest person honest.

These guys must watch Futurama
I didn't believe the other review that stated that the order of numbers didn't matter. I should have. This product is near worthless because of that.See, technically speaking, this is a "combination" lock - as long as you use the mathematical definition of combination. If you use the term as basically everyone else understands it, actual good combination locks are, mathematically speaking, permutation locks - order matters. So for this lock, your code of 123 is the same code as 132, 213, 231, 312, and 321 For a REAL combination lock, all of those would be different. Why does this matter? Because, in terms of someone trying to guess your code, a (mathematically) combination lock has a total of only 2048 unique codes, where you can choose any code from 0 to 11 keys long (the lock has numbers 0-9 and a star key). 2048 is a lot right?WRONG. A similar standard (mathematically permutation) combination lock has over 300 BILLION possible combinations if you can choose any code from 0 to 11 keys long. Assuming whoever was trying to crack this thing doesn't just use physical force, they'd die before they could try every combination."Technically correct" may be the best form of correct, but it's far less effective if the ones you annoy with your technicalities can retaliate. This is going back tomorrow. This product is bull****.

Almost water proof
I am using this at our oceanfront home. The protective cover is great. My old lockbox didn't have this andthis feature is a great improvement. We use it with confidence and it is inexpensive. Perfect for our application
