Very cool
Pixobitz have been an interesting block set to work with. What fascinated me most about them was using water to get them to stick, and as a chemist who loves toys like this, I had to see if it works or was too good to be true.Beware: the blocks smell faintly of vinegar, get sticky when wet, and leave a filmy residue on surfaces and hands until they are dry. So if any of these are dealbreakers, avoid these blocks. I dissolved a single block in a cup of water, a process that took just over 5 hours. Though I don’t worry too much about children or pets eating them mistakenly because they taste horrible. And I barely touched my tongue to it!They work sort of like Legos but their size makes them a lot more versatile. The decals for faces and clothes are also quite varied. I’d only call the Metallic set a "girl’s set," which is refreshing to see. It’s easy to make a design, spray it, add layers and accessories, then let it dry. And it works well! The large figures take a bit longer to dry than advertised and tend to lean back, but with some additional water spray to adjust the feet, they stand upright great. Broken piece? Stick it back together with water and let it dry. Easy fix.The Studio: this is the set I’d recommend for anyone interested in Pixobitz. The case is really well designed. I was expecting some flimsy junk, but it closes up very compact and secure. The tools are hit and miss. I found the tweezers useless since they didn’t open wide enough to grab the blocks. The tool for adding decals was handy. It comes with two of the larger design trays and a “water containment system" for spraying, which is great if there are other bricks nearby. It keeps the water on the tray. Perfect. In conclusion, Pixobitz are really cool and creative. They work as advertised. I enjoyed tinkering with them. I love the possibilities for building with these. Anyone who enjoys building blocks will enjoy playing with these.

Fun-no mess activity
This set is a really fun craft for the kids. This comes with a few different cards that have a template where you can place the cubes on and make a character. It also comes with a bunch of stickers that you can place on those characters to create a face or different artwork on that piece that you just made. I am glad I got the set that has the box that you keep everything in because everything you see on the picture page is actually able to all be set inside that cube and so you do not lose any of those pieces. I like that my children are not always using those helping cards and they are making their own designs. Some suggestions I have is to have something that sticks the card on the bottom better or somehow you could have that card go in between the plastic and another piece of plastic so it stays still because I’ve noticed a lot of times that it’s really hard to keep that from sliding. It does say to put water between each layer and that is a must for that the piece stay nicely together. Some of the projects my kids have built even ones that were shown on the cards—for example the cherries did not come off of the plastic that well so we might’ve had to wait a little longer before we decided to take it off.It was a lot of fun until one of my younger children decided to take all of the cubes throw them up in the air and say dance party and then proceeded to dance all over those cubes. Hopefully your children will not do the same :)This has been a real fun no mess activity.

So fun, we had to buy refills!
These are lots of fun! Even my almost 5 year old can do these with some help. She has been making these all day, we already run out of most of the beads and had to buy a refill. While we are waiting for refills to arrive, my daughter is having lots of fun playing with the characters she created. The instructions are easy to follow but we also watched a “how to” video. The drying time is rather long. We ended up using a small desk fan to speed things up. It is nice that there are 2 peg boards included in the set. While one was drying, we had another to make more.I am impressed at the way everything puts together for storage. Everything fits into a cube with a nice carry handle. A+ for storage engineers! There are some things that can be improved. The tweezers are useless - they don’t open wide enough to pick up a bead. We did fine without. The little sponge on the spray bottle fell off after first use. Would have been nice to have it functional but we did away without it as well. All in all, this is an awesome craft toy that teaches following directions and promotes creativity. And, as a bonus, transitions into imaginative play with all the created characters and accessories.
