For the two-thirds reviewers here who weren't thrilled with this Prevail purchase, please check out my review of a much better Prevail product – the Smooth Fit Maximum Absorbency Brief Style Underwear for Women. The seniors I interviewed showed a clear preference for the Smooth Fit over this Per-Fit Comfort Shape Underwear.Side- by-side comparison photos are attached to this review:• The Per-Fit is industrial, adult care white while the Smooth Fit is a less intimidating and more pleasing shade of light blue (pic 1).• Both the Per-Fit and Smooth Fit and offer large 16” x 4” pad protection. But the pad in the Per-Fit was bulky and clumpy in contrast to the snug profile of the Smooth Fit (pic 2)• The Per-Fit crimps unevenly while the Smooth Fit does in fact lay smooth against the same bodyAdult care underwear is mortifying enough without making seniors feel like big babies. Prevail’s Smooth Fit offered great protection and a comfortable fit in a soothing and smooth-looking pant. Hands down it was the clear winner with my test subjects over the Per-Fit brand from the same company.

Not for us
My 10 year old is autistic and g-tube fed, I got these for him thinking it might be a good solution as he's about to outgrow the brand we normally use for daytime. He currently uses GoodNites Bedtime Pants size l/xl and MoliCare Comfort Plus size medium overnight. The first thing I noticed was that they're soft and quiet unlike plastic pants. But the waistband is so high that they went way up high, over his g-tube, which would have been a nightmare - so I had to fold it down which might have helped cause some of the leaking issues we had. Oh the leaks! These are absolutely not for nighttime use. For the price of them I think that you're supposed to change them after each accident. These would probably be better for someone who rarely had accidents, or small amounts of bladder leakage. I have added a picture of 4 different types of underwear/briefs so you can see the size/material differences. GoodNites Bedtime Pants for Boys, Size Large/Extra Large, these - Prevail Underwear Med, Depends Fix-Flex Underwear for Men S/M, and MoliCare Comfort Plus Small.

Finally a diaper that don't leak !!
First off I loved how affordable these are , I'm a care taker for my mom and dad and they both use adult diapers . My dad's previous brand he used leaked so I was washing his sheets constantly . I bought these for my mom and decided to try it on him and finally no more leaks which means less washing for me ! The quality is great you won't be disappointed and these work for men and women .

Still not loving the Prevail incontinence underwear.
I have tried many Prevail products over the last few months and I'm just not impressed at all. First of all, don't go by the look of the picture of this underwear on the product page. They look absolutely NOTHING like the picture on the product page or the product packaging. If they did, I would probably love them. No, instead you get a lot of elasticated plastic with basically a long wide pad, that bunches horribly, down the middle. They are not at all comfortable to wear as they feel like you have a constant wedgie and a saggy diaper. The legs are always too big and floppy. The incontinence underwear designers should be forced to wear one of these for a day so they would know how to improve the design. I have tried other lesser known brands that fit better and are more comfortable.Having said that, they are absorbent enough so long as the cotton pad inside them isn't bunched up and mangled too much.

These are a little more comfortable than Prevail's Smooth Fit protective underwear
These are a little more comfortable than Prevail's Smooth Fit protective underwear, because they're sized Medium and not Small/Medium, but they are not discreet under thinner bottoms like leggings or yoga pants. Depending on the rise of your jeans, the waistband may stick out and be noticeable. In terms of absorbency, they don't seem to be as absorbent as the Smooth Fit as well, and the crotch panel seems to bunch up a bit and get uncomfortable. If these could be as absorbent as the Smooth Fit, but have the same overall fit they already have, they'd be perfect. I'm not sure how to make them discreet, though. All the ads for every brand of protective underwear claim to be discreet, but are any of them actually?

One good pee can do them in
One good pee can do them in. The channels are a great idea but the filler is neither fast enough nor absorbent enough to work. Maybe the Prevail people could take a look at NASA technology like Wellness Absorbent Underwear - New Way To Manage Incontinence which really is superabsorbent. They do show through cotton knits- Teena is best for that. Not quite ready for prime time.

These are downright uncomfortable
These are an odd size medium, running the gamit from 34 to 44 inch waist, a pretty big amount of difference. These are just not comfortable. They are oddly cut, seeming more like a massive menstrual pad than protective underwear. Extremely thick, but not in a protective way. These are just plain uncomfortable and bulky.
