Good recipes-poorly written
Book has a huge variety of recipes however, there are many many typos and recipes that don't make sense. I really feel this was originally written in another language then translated without proof reading. Make sure you read recipes through and look for contradictions and errors BEFORE you start to prepare. That said, we have gleaned some pretty tasty ideas from the book.

Cookbook with some REALLY funny typos! - UPDATED
Original review:Oh Lord, where do I begin with this one??The cookbook itself is great. There are TONS of recipes in each section that will satisfy any picky eaters. Most of the items are super healthy but watch for gems hiding over 60g of fat in 1 serving. But oh man. There are some REAL typos in here. I've skimmed about 2/3rd through the recipe book and just came across "Rocket" as a listed ingredient. Then in the other picture I posted, the ingredients do not follow the recipe at ALL, plus the directions are so wrong! It says "2. Add 1 tbsp of oil and roast the first five ingredients". Well, if you're roasting those, you're sticking Coriander, 6 tortilla wraps, 5 tbsp black beans, one red chili and one onion. Kind of weird, right? But here it gets even better! "toast for thirty months." THIRTY MONTHS! Oh goodness, we would've burnt the house down long ago. Those poor tortillas would have suffered quite a cruel punishment, trapped in an oven for 30 months.I'm assuming she means to roast the butternut squash. And I'm assuming everything that isn't included in the remainder of the recipe must go on said squash. But then there are all kinds of other ingredients thrown in there that aren't even on the ingredient list.Anyway, back to the good stuff! All of the recipes are laid out well, explaining nutrition, servings and cooking difficulty level. The ingredients are well known and most are easy to get (except for the Rocket of course).UPDATE:After reading the entire cookbook, there are some great recipes but it is severely lacking in explanation. There are so many recipes that say "chicken" and not breast, thigh, etc. There are ingredients in the actual recipes that are not in the ingredient list. There is the same recipe SEVERAL times (I think one recipe I found 3 different times, same exact recipe but different name). This book clearly needed to be edited and you can see in different chapters how the author rushed through. Many recipes have little to no explanation (for example put in pan - doesn't mention how hot, adding oil, etc.)I would pass on this one and would have returned if I hadn't dogeared some pages already.

It’s a good start
The book is okay. It’s a good first option and gives a wide variety of dishes. My mother does not like to look up recipes online and wanted a books to read from. So here are the Pros & Cons:Pro- a lot of great options, lists nutritional information for each recipe, includes measurement conversion table, and goes into detail about what to eat and planing and diet plan for the week.Con - the pages feel like basic xerox copies from a machine. They are just poor quality and some of the print is blurry, such as the conversion page. It looks like the copied and image was enlarged too much. Their are some translation problems with the recipes. It feels like they used a basic online program because some of the words and phrases are just off. Some recipes are in grams and liters whiles others are in cups and tablespoons.

Has some good information
Overall a good book on basic heart recipes, but there are problems in recipe directions. Some of the directions are poorly written and sometimes confusing. If you are an experienced cook, you may be able to read between the lines. There are also typographical errors which also skew the recipe directions. If you can overcome these minor details then the book has some good information.

Must be mind reader to use
Must be a mind reader to follow some directions and know what ingredients to use. 1/4 tsp of black. Black what? Read on and figure it out. No grammar check was used. Hope you have time to cook each meal, they can be lengthy.

Recipes not complete
Husband had a heart attack so I was looking for some good recipes. And there are some in here that sounds good. However some of the instructions are incomplete, the grammar is confusing, and you have to guess what they are talking about. For instant one recipes does not call for butter but in the instructions it says add a half a stick. Not sure what I am adding…

What a joke! Actually zero stars but can’t do that.
I Bought this book after my husband had a heart attack. Do not waste your money. I’d be interested to know how and where this “author” tested and measured the nutritional value for each recipe. The first photo added is particularly amusing due to the lack of ingredients required, am I to guess what is required - 1/4 cup unsweetened- what? But let’s move into sodium content - that particular recipe just granola 18mg sodium. While a main meal with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce says 19mg sodium - this is completely impossible as a tablespoon soy sauce has around 1700 to 1900mg sodium. The third photo (slightly hard to see in full photo so second photo of N/V added) has a correct breakdown of if nutritional information. My personal opinion is - this book is a sham avoid it like the plague it’s going in the bin. It could potentially cause more harm than good.
