Amazing for cleaning stubborn toilet limescale
Bought this after reading other reviews, and it really does work! Make sure you fully empty the toilet bowl, have gloves and goggles, and the window open. Pour in enough to cover the stains and wait as long as possible before scrubbing with a brush. Perfectly clean toilet!

Fine...I guess?
I bought two containers of this stuff, as I had exposed an old fireplace / chimney breast in my living room, and wanted to see if this stuff could liven up some of the bricks. In my personal experience, there's been some good and some bad. It depends on you as an individual, I guess. So the good news is that, when applied, it gives off an effervescent fizz to some of the old plaster / sandy mortar, which is satisfying. Presumably, used in large chunks, it'd get the job done quickly. My problem is that I live in house built in the 1930s...it's very old school, very dark mortar. So the acid, even undiluted, barely scratched it. It works on the old sandy plaster quite well! But the downside was I'd already removed 99% of this with a cheap wire brush. It also does nothing for removing burn marks on bricks.Great if you want a quick job removing modern mortar or loose plaster from bricks. Buy if you want to save time. Not so great on tougher stains or older mortar, even when undiluted with water. Don't buy if you're okay applying some elbow grease yourself and have some spare time. There are also questions on the finish. It leaves the brick looking ever so slightly darker or glossy (either that or it takes longer than paint to dry off on the brick?) Again, this is personal taste, but something to consider.Personally, I'd have been happier saving the money, using the wire brushes and having the old finish, but different strokes for different folks I guess. Three stars.

Hard brush and jetwash
Came up pretty good from black moulded, it hard to remove but this acid made all the difference, take care, wellies rubber gloves and goggles.. Keep away from plants..

does the job
Does the job surprisingly well by making the 5months old/well set mortar and cement splashes softer so you will need brush vigorously to remove.

Last resort before buying a new loo
No strong smell which was suspicious but I poured a couple of litres into the toilet bowl and 5 minutes later the limescale appears to have gone. Astonishing.
