DUMBORC X6 2.4GHz 6CH RC Radio Transmitter and Receiver X6FG(Built-in Gyro) with Fail-Safe & Low Voltage Alarm Function for Rc Vehicle Car Boat Tank Model Parts Remote Controller

I totally expected a cheap feeling toy grade transmitter. For a bare bones $40 unit, this thing is solid. It's got great range, a good hand feel, and 6 channels. I use it in my wltoys 104001 just for reference, but it does what it does well. This may be the king of cheap radios.

I purchased this transmitter and receiver to replace the 4 channel Dumbo (Cross RC branded) transmitter and receiver in My Cross RC NT-4 Unimog RTR because it would randomly stop running for about 1 to 2 seconds, every 5 minutes or so. This was out of the box issue, of which I knew about before hand. It was basically a plug and play job, but I did have to set the end points on channel 3 for the high and low gears. This also was easy. Everything that You need to know is in the included instructions booklet. I have NO more issues with My rig cutting out. Dumbo make so pretty good devices in My opinion, and this is the only out of the box problem with a factory issued Dumbo set that I have ever encountered. I would recommend this 6 channel set-up! It is very responsive and has excellent range for crawlers.

I was about to buy a Spectrum until I saw a video on YouTube about this one. I have to say, it is user friendly and had all of the features I needed for a drag car set up. Excellent range and you can dial in the steering, gyro and throttle to suit your liking. I will be buying another soon. The gyro features saves space being built in and it works very well

I've bought two of these so far. Inexpensive, but does what I need them to do. Appears to have decent range, the two channels work well. Pretty straightforward to set up. I use them on small 1/10 scale RC cars (Tamiya Frog and similar).

Gyro doesn't work right for me. It wobbles at any setting at any speed until I turn the gyro off. There is not directions stating what orientation the gyro is supposed to be.Radio is great otherwise

This is my second dumbo and I love it! Great range, response and easy to use. The gyro is exceptional and is fun to play with for hole shots or just running laps.

If you want a decent controller with a bunch of channels but don't want to spend a ton of money, this is a great controller. It's nothing super fancy and the plastic feels as cheap as RTR controllers. But the range, response time, and battery life is great! My only complaint is that the instructions aren't the best. Setting the endpoints of channel 3&4 is a bit of a pain to figure out. But I've bought a bunch of these to replace all the stock controllers and I'm pretty happy with them.I would NOT suggest these controllers if you only want to use 1 remote with a bunch of cars. While yes you can pair it to a bunch of receivers, there isn't a memory or any profiles in the controller. This means that every time you switch to a new car, you have to adjust all of your endpoints and trims again. I personally prefer to just have a controller for each car. That way I can have friends drive with me and when I decide to sell one, I have a controller to send with it.
