UNHAPPY CUSTOMER
I used this product this summer, the boat was in the water less than 4 months. I had the boat hauled because of hurricane Florence. Upon inspection I discovered the bottom was covered with the worst case of barnacle infestation I have ever experienced!!!! By comparison on my other boat, which I had painted the previous year using another ablative product and did not repaint this year, there was very little bottom growth. Unhappy customer for sure.

better than any paint that I had bought from west ...
I was not expecting much for the price of the paint, BUT after pulling out my boat at the end of the season I was extremely surprised, better than any paint that I had bought from west Marine no growth on the bottom at all in salt water.

Best price around for good quality bottom paint
Can't beat the price here at all - this is the good stuff for salt water single or multi-year anti-fouling ablative bottom paint in the long island sound area, which tends to grow lots of stuff on boat bottoms. Paint is slightly thicker than other brands, so its tricky to get started stirring it up, but it rolls on fine, sticks to everything, and masks off correctly with normal tape. Don't overpay for your paint - get this!

Better than Expected!
Half way through the season, and this stuff is holding up incredible well! It was easy to work with, a little thinner than most copper paint so I was skeptical. But I'll be buying again in the future. So far, not fouling and the paint stays on!

Total Failure
We have owned our 45 foot sailboat for 30 years. I have had new bottom paint applied and used many different brands during that 30 years. This product is absolutely the worst paint I have ever used. Less than two months after being professionally applied, the bottom of my boat was coated (everywhere) with large and small barnacles and plant life a quarter inch thick. I was shocked. The paint was well shook before application and the bottom meticulously prepped. Two coats were applied. Total waste of my money which I WANT BACK!

Unusually thick bottom paint, but applies easily
This bottom paint is much more viscous than Interlux, Pettit and West Marine brands.I ordinarily was able to just barely cover the bottom of my Ericson 38 with a single gallon. In 95F heat, I needed to add about 10% mineral spirits and half of an extra quart of paint (luckily the boat is near the seller, as I discovered after I bought it on Amazon) to get the same coverage.

Cheap and tacky. Don’t buy this!
I’m not a fan. I guess you get what you pay for and shame on me for getting the cheap stuff this time. It’s very tacky and rubs off on docks, all over my fenders, swim ladders, feet, and whatever touches it. I would not buy this crap again. Great big mess until it wears off.

Easiest paint ever
This paint went on like a dream. I have never had a paint so easy to apply... no runs, no overlap streaks, nothing... almost self leveling it seemed. Only took a half gallon to do 2 good coats on my 23 ft sailboat. Only problem is what to do with the extra paint as I only had one boat to apply it to. I will use this product again when it comes time to pull her out of the water in a few years. Lets hope it is still available then.
