Size of it is 1.96 in.- Just can use to switch on/off and functions on App. It doesn't work on controlling metrics like dimming your lights.But it still does function as it promises. When i leave the area, i share it to ifttt and my lights turn off automatically.So far, very happy with it..

Do some research on the potential security issues with smart outlets before purchasing these outlets. Start by searching 'smart outlet security issues'. I tried these because they were a much cheaper option to what I have been using. The main difference with these devices is that they connect directly to your WiFi. That can potentially open your network to being hacked. I can't say for certain that these outlets are a problem, but there were enough red flags to make me concerned. Since they need direct access to your router, you will need to provide the password to the Smart Life app that controls them. This was the first sign that made me uncomfortable since the app was clearly written by someone whose primary language was not English. And I have never had to provide my password for any other smart outlet I have connected to my system. The first outlet connected successfully and seemed to work. When I tried to connect the second outlet, I saw that the app had retained my password, the second sign that caused concern. I went ahead and tried to install the second outlet and got an error message and the install failed. After it failed the lights on the outlet began to flash in an odd way (like the light on your computer does when it is processing something). That was the third sign that concerned me so I immediately unplugged the outlet and hopped on the internet to research this type of outlet. It didn't take long to find information about the potential security issues of all these types of devices. After that I decided that, aside from the failed install, these were not worth the risk they present to the security of your network. Buyer beware.
