Kitchen Supplier Wooden Yarn bowl hand made with Indian Rosewood (sheesham wood) for knitting and Crochet -- Christmas Collection 2021

While it is the same shape as the product photo, the quality is completely different. The bowl I received is rough around the cut for yarn and needs sanding. The finish and lustre of the is absent. The thickness of the wood cut is about half. I understand that this item is hand made and therefore will have differences. The piece I received is not the same quality as the one featured. It is acceptable for personal use after cleaning up and re-finishing the cut edge.

This is beautiful--though not as functional as I'd hoped. Firstly it is small and too short. I can see the shortness in the photo, but the circumference was a surprise. It's maybe 8" across. And while the spiral is beautifully smooth, the holes for yarn to go through are rough and little. The height also means it is tough to keep your yarn in the bowl, which is the point--to have the ball stay where it is, when you tug on the yarn--not bounce out. The sides are curved--but more on the exterior--not the interior--which is where it is needed.

It was rough not able to pull yarn through it, i sanded it to get it to work but still has rough spots and inside is not attractive. Im disapointed but i waited so long to get one i tried to make it work, its a bowl on my table now. Since i worked on it i didnt send it back

The bowl has ruff edges and the yarn 🧶 catches. Holes are left unfinished. Nice shine finish on bowl, just not where needed! I only buy American 🇺🇸 made! And this wasn’t! My fault! YouTube had some really good hacks, I will use instead.

LOVE, LOVE, this bowl. I received it a day earlier and put it to work right away. It's not only beautiful but well made and does an awesome job. It beats all others that are more expensive...Thanks Amazon for providing such high quality products.

It is a beautiful bowl, but not sanded on or around the inside of the holes or the swirl. My yarn kept catching and splitting on the rough parts. Would not recommend for this reason.

This bowl is very shiny and the shellac is thick in some places. I do not care for the color as it is too dark and too shiny....it looks and feels like plastic.

The yarn doesn't pull smoothly through the yarn slot. It's attractive, I use it to hold extra crochet hooks and needles I'm using for the project I'm working on.

DO NOT BUY.I gave 1 star for delivery only and that's were the good stops. As you can see from the pictures it arrived unfinished and badly stained as if something had splashed against it not only on the outside but inside as well. The curl were the wool is supposed to run has not been finished so the wool will catch, the holes for the needles look like they were made using a blunt drill and the colour is horrible a mixture of pale wood and dirty grey from the splash marks. This was supposed to be a gift. I could sand it all down restain it and they varnish but I thought that was what I had paid for already. It has been sent straight back. The only thing that was near right was the shape and size.

Product arrived quickly but was appalling quality and nothing like the picture or description. It easy rosewood in colour it was a horrid yellow. The description states the yarn spiral is smoothly finished to prevent snagging, it certainly was not. It also states 'handmade' however I doubt this.

Disappointing, not at all like the picture. I had to sand the areas where the wool slides as it was rough and I sanded the whole bowl again it was covered in a gold sheen.

Doesn’t look anything like the picture. It’s roughly hewn and ugly. However it is functional and I kept it. Very expensive for what it is.

This item is not fit for purpose. The cutout spiral has not been finished and is very rough and will snag the yarn. Also the colour is very different to the picture, much paler with more yellow tones, not attractive.
