Look, it's expensive little cups of brown rice. But that's healthier than white rice, and this can be the base of so many meals, shelf-stable or otherwise. It's the perfect size. I ate dozens of these while living on a shelf-stable Amazon diet for a while. One time what I presume was a bad grain of rice made it taste slightly odd, but like I said I ate a lot of these and every other time it was fine. Rice is an agricultural product, you can't get it 100.0% perfect. Anyway. For what it is it's great.

Good value for the money and easy to use

The easy prep microwave rice is super convenient. I like this over the pouches because you can divide your servings-portion control. One cup is perfect for a side dish or cooking for one. The other cup is easily stored till youre ready to use. No messy half opened bags or containers. They were priced like the pouches and the rice is very good 👍. Just plain brown rice which you can flavor or modify to your taste buds. Shipping was fast with no damage. 5stars.

Rice from a rice cooker is probably better but this works just fine for me.

My daughter only likes brown rice so having these on hand makes it easier to accommodate her when we have rice as a side dish. I found these in my local store for 2 for $4 and then looked online and these were half the price! I now have a stockpile on hand and everyone is happy.

I buy these for my dog. He gets one mixed with his kibbles, veggies, etc. for dinner. He’s a big active boi so needs the calories. And he loves the taste! They heat up in one minute and are the perfect size. I like that it’s not sticky rice which is difficult to mix into his dinner. We also travel a lot in a fifth wheel and it’s nice not having to haul a full rice cooker with us. And at home, these save a lot of time.
