In all fairness, I didn't notice the notice about the iMac 2017. So just to confirm, it doesn't work if you try to connect 27-in iMac to 30-in DELL U3014 monitor.

Awful cable. Worked ok, or so I thought, for the first couple of months but turns out the cable was causing my MacBook to crash when unplugged/monitor turned off. Also the cable started flickering after 3 months.

I was trying to connect my 2017 HP Spectre x360 to a Dell 4K monitor. It didn't work at all -- returning.

Not stable. It worked good in the first two months. After that time, I have to plugged and unplugged many times to get the signal to my monitor. As a result of plugging and unplugging many times, the USB-C ports on my macbook (left sign) become to looser than the other side (right side). Not recommend!

Bought two of these and one came apart after light use. Would not buy again.

Comes in a very neat package. It works well with my new macbook pro and 4k Dell display. HDMI adapter provided by Apple can reach only 30hz, which sometimes causes mouse moving lagging.

Good stuff, but a little pricy

No signal detected.
