TOO TIGHT OF A FIT
Very tight fit on the smaller end. It took many attempts (9 or 10) to finally get it to fit. I was almost tempted to grind the tips a little bit. But if I did that it would have been non-returnable. Maybe it's time for you to adjust your casting a bit.

Well Made Wrench
I am impressed with the quality of this wrench. It is made with a fairly heavy gauge of metal. I have seen some that are either made of very thin metal or cast metal - neither of which was very strong (the cast one actually broke the first time my husband used it). The only problem I had with this one is that it didn't quite fit my sink - but that was easily remedied by filing down the tabs.

Poor design???
I have been trying and trying to replace the sink baskets in my kitchen sink because they leak. A channel-lock pliers did not work. A pipe wrench did not fit. So, I purchased two wrenches to make the job easier, and this was one of them. Both wrenches failed to help with the job. I realize that the threads on my sink basket must be pretty corroded. But, the hole for the handle on this wrench is in the middle of the wrench! Which renders it completely useless from the top of any kitchen sink drain, as the wrench is not long enough to insert the handle once you have it in position. I was going to try to have help holding the basket in place by another person from the top. But, this wrench is only useful from underneath the sink, and my basket is not budging. I'm back here to try to find a combination of wrenches that will actually do the job. As if this job hasn't been frustrating enough, I have now wasted money trying to get it done. Had to rip the packaging open to attempt to use the wrench, so I'm not going to even try to send it back. Waste of time and money.

Didn't work for me . . .
I have a 4 slot sink basket/strainer. This requires use of the 4 pin end of the tool. First the pins are about the same size as the basket/strainer slots. Alignment of the tool must be precision. However the pins on the tool are sized, spaced and aligned willy-nilly. Bent at different angles and spread unevenly around the tool. Just a fraction of an inch but enough to make it impossible to engage all 4 pins. Two pins go in without effort, a third pin will engage with some effort. A 4th pin is impossible. The 4th pin is off by 1/8th inch. Not only on the circumference but also laterally. Tool is unusable. I returned it.

Doesn't get the best grip from on top of the sink but just ...
It works. Doesn't get the best grip from on top of the sink but just enough to use a tool underneath to tighten the ring holding the basket to the sink.
