Compression Socks men wide calf - Thick Diabetic Sock. Ankle and Arch Support, Large Feet and Legs, Firm Gradient Pressure

I spend four days a week on my feet in a busy emergency room. I ordered these socks for right calf swelling after an injury while wanting to avoid the $100-$125 pair of hospital grade TEDs (thrombo-embolic deterrent hose to be precise). I ordered this item as a compression sock to help correct swelling and edema of my right lower calf. At the time of order, my right calf was 22" in diameter and the XL/XW socks fit perfectly. I have worn them every day for over a week now (yes, I have washed them regularly...geez mom) and they show no signs of wear/fraying/thinning. The socks stay in position with no rolling/sliding down throughout the day. My only dislike is that the top 5 mm of the sock edge dig in to the top of my calf very slightly. I would repurchase this item without hesitation if needed again.I did not upload an image of my worn socks as I doubt you want to see my swollen hairy leg, but if you do want to see my hairy swollen leg...you might want to seek professional help...** I DID NOT receive this item at a free or reduced rate in exchange for this evaluation (i.e. I bought and paid for them out of my own wallet).

5 Stars but...I had ordered Micodema compression socks a few times and wanted two pair as spares. More than a month had passed when I needed to use a pair. I found that 1 of 2 pair was NOT Micodema but another product, which did not fit and is unacceptable. So my bad because I didn't check my order? I don't think so. The packaging looks almost identical to the Micodemas I ordered and the other pair is the correct product.I recommend Micodema, but make sure that's what you get!

I was hesitant to buy these, I saw reviews that either loved them or hated them, so I didn't hold out much hope. But, order them I did, and I'm glad. I needed compression socks due to swelling in my ankles. I was afraid these wouldn't fit, because, well, I'm 240 pounds and I wasn't sure I'd be able to get them on. They are snug, very snug, but with a little patience, they go on just as they're supposed to. Once on, they feel great, all over compression without squeezing the life out of me. Love the arch and ankle support. They come up on my leg nearly identical to the picture, and no deep grooves in my skin when I take them off. I wear them every day when I walk my dogs, and I can keep them on nearly all day and be comfortable. I bought the extra large, not the extra wide calf, after I measured my calf, which was, I think, 18 inches. Washed and dried them for the first time, and they did not shrink. I'm going to buy another pair!

Bought these for my uncle. So this is his review: These socks are nice and thick. Most I found were so thin and didn't provide the warmth and cushion I was looking for. These come high up the leg which I really like. Some come right to the top of the calf which cuts off my circulation. Also, I like that they have a lot of cotton in them. My feet don't sweat as much in these because they breathe better. The arch support and the ankle support really make a difference. My feet and calves feel hugged instead of strangled. Pretty easy to get on. Didn't have to ask for help to get them on. The packaging box they arrived in had very clear instructions printed right on the outside which was helpful.

When I was ordering this item, upon checking out, I reviewed my order and nowhere did it confirm the size that I needed, which was XL XW. This is why I ordered the wrong size the 2nd time I ordered it. The 3rd time, the order summary was still inadequate, but somehow it went through accurately. I am glad that I won't have to order another pair any time soon.

I loved their previous thick compression socks, and since it was time to replace them, I ordered 11 pairs over several orders (wanted 12 but they ran out). Nice fit, great compression, thick so you don't need the gloves to put them on, same color top and bottom, no orange. 5 stars! Until after just one or two washes, 2 socks have big holes in the heels. I didn't snag them on anything and only walk on smooth surfaces when not wearing shoes...wore them the same way I did with their previous sock. Too expensive if this wear rate continues.

Had these for a while. It took a bit of time to put it together that whenever I wore these my knee aches more than normal (on the leg that swells). Not sure what it is, they feel fine when I'm putting them on and my feet and calves seem fine in them.

The socks perform very well and I am pleased with them. They are comparatively expensive and I may test others to see if they perform as well. Overall, the product arrived on time and was as advertised. The vendor has emailed me directly to determine my satisfaction. Good vendor and, apparently, a quality product.
