Well, I got myself a Mac and there was no way I was going to get it damage one little bit!So after careful reviewing and looking at other people's feedback, I bought 'Touch Protector + Track Pad Cover Anti-scratch Smooth Touch Pad Skin Film'.Firstly, it's not interesting to look at. Transparent soft plastic mould. It came in a simple box with instructions on how to prepare the area before laying the protectors. The instructions are easy enough. I did get confused on how to remove stickers 1 then 2 for the touch bar film. But I did it. Unfortunately, I couldn't take the actual labels that said 1 and 2 off easily, some of it is still on the plastic resulting in a gluey mark still on there. It doesn't bother me. See photo.Placing the film on Touch Bar and Track Pad were not easy to do either. But it could be me not following the instruction. It doesn't look bad once laid on correctly.I am able to type on the keyboard easily, It doesn't feel heavy or sludgy. The track pad still works and it IS scratch proof as my five year old confirmed trying to give me a demonstration.I am happy with my purchase but I will be back to let you know if things went wrong when I wash it (unable to rate this yet) or if there are any issues in the next 6 months.

It was easy to instal and the product was of good quality

It said it was clear and it was Matt and not nice to look at, but worse than that it didn’t stick. You could not get the bubbles out and when you did it lifted. There were two in the packet and one was bent at the edge so you couldn’t attach it. Tried with both and threw them in the bin!! What a waste of money.

it does work however it create a weird feel as you use it its like your finger sticks. i had to take mine off for me ever little use on the mouse pad is huge but i would use it again if if was for day to day stuff

Does its job.. easy to apply , fits perfectly, trackpad is still as sensitive as it should be , haven't had any problems. Good value, would recommend. Had some trouble with bubbles under the sticker but this is a very minor issue as trackpad still works fine.

The media could not be loaded.  The cleaning pads supplied were unfortunately bone dry so I had to obtain some more. The installation was a little fiddley and the plastic attracts dust like crazy, but I was able to install it just fine. The texture is ever so slightly rougher than the actual trackpad but I prefer that. The video shows the response or tracking ability after installing the protector, there is no change or issues.

Definitely allocate 30 minutes of your day to take time with the installation. However, I am very impressed with the texture of the trackpad when it is done. It feels nearly identical to the original and does not have any "plastic feel" immediately after installation.The touch bar was more annoying to install than the actual trackpad.Well worth the price, in my opinion.

I think the product is a great bang for the buck and an essential in protecting the surfaces of your laptop.I was a little disappointed in the difficulty of installing the touch bar / fingerprint scanner portion but it comes with an extra!The touch pad isn't a 100% fit but it is 99% fit.The new texture takes a day or so to get used to and on some days I feel a slight pain in my hand from the extra pressure but apart from that I think it's an investment I will be happy with in years to come.
