Excellent customer support
Chair is great so far, really good bang for the buck. Was missing 2 screws from the box, but I contacted them and in less than a week I received the missing's screws.

Annoyed might return
Its comfortable when it stays in place. No matter how many times I adjust or tighten the back it ends up falling and not being in an ideal spot. I spent a ton of money on this chair just to have it constantly need to be lifted and adjusted throughout the day. Pretty frustrated.

Great Back, Great Chair
Edit: Duorest reached out to me to cover the issues I've been having, and offered me a free replacement. They said it seems like the chair I got was damaged/defective, so I took the offer and gave them the benefit of the doubt. This time around, the seat pan locks firmly in place, it no longer slides back when I adjust myself in the seat. The back adjustment also locks firmly in place, and I've had no slipping. The original chair didn't seem to have any grooves in the back to help lock in the height. This time around, when adjusting the height, it feels like there's some grooves or something at each level to help the chair lock into position. So it seems that it was in fact just a chair that was damaged in transit, or otherwise had a bad QC. But I'm very impressed with Duorest for reaching out to me about the issues from my review, having actually read my review to address my specific problems, and having such a quick and easy solution. Now that the chair functions correctly, I would highly recommend this chair and brand.Original Review: I've been using the Duorest Alpha (all black) for several months now. I got it to replace another ergo chair who's back adjustment broke, based off of the stellar reviews and unique design. I can say, the back rest is amazing. It cradles well, and while it can be a bit warm since it's not mesh, it's one of the few chairs that hasn't left my back hurting after a long session at my desk. But beyond this, the chair has been pretty disappointing. The main issues are the headrest, the seatpan adjustment, and the back adjustment. I'm not really a fan of the loosen to adjust, then tighten the wheel to lock it in place style of back adjustment on chairs, but if it's good quality, I don't really mind. I don't adjust my back height unless it slips out of place. Well, pretty much since I got this, it hasn't done great at holding it's place, but it's gotten significantly worse over time. No matter how tight I turn the knob, it still slips pretty much any time I leave the seat, all the way to it's original position. I'm a rather tall person, so this doesn't work for me, as I find myself hunching over to meet the back, which doesn't help me at all. Incredibly disappointing for the price, and the reviews.Other than this, the seatpan, while it adjust forwards to where I need/like it, it doesn't lock in place. So any time I readjust myself and slide back in the chair, the seatpan slides with it. And it can often be a pain to get it to extend all the way forward again. Upon inspection, the mechanism for it just doesn't have any lock points other than for it being all the way back. And the head rest is kind of flimsy, which I expected, but the real issue with it is the bar it's on extends between the shoulders of the backrest. This means that reclining in this chair is incredibly uncomfortable, as, at least for me, the bar ends up between my should blades. While I love the design, for the original price of $600, let alone the now $650 price, this chair isn't worth it. It's displayed as a more premium version of the chair (as well as the only one you can get a mesh seatpan with, which is a must for me), but it is far from anything premium. I haven't tried their other, cheaper chairs, but I'd recommend looking at those if you're sold on the backrest design, as maybe you'll have better luck, or at least be out less money if you experience similar issues.

Best Office Chair Out There
I never believe in writing reviews because I feel that nothing has ever deserved that type of follow up action, after all, the company already took my money. This is not the case here, this chair is a game changer and I do feel the need to tell everyone how good it is. Hopefully, this review will make it less risky to buy this chair. I was stressed out looking for a good chair and decided to take a risk in buying the DuoRest Alpha Chair and boy did it pay off. The dual back rest provides so much comfortability and support in any seating position. Lean left, lean right, lean back, lean forward, either way, this chair feels good at all angles. I have always dreamt of having a chair that hugs my back perfectly and with this chair I am able to experience that. The seat also provides perfect comfortability, support and breathability. There are plenty of adjustments with the seat that you can make to make it feel just right. As for the cons of this chair goes, the arm rests are a little awkward but they get the job done. The arm rests are too small and they don't go far enough out towards my desk and they don't go as high as you would probably like. The other slight issue is the head rest. Its a little awkward as well, but it also gets the job done. It can be adjusted in height and angle but what cannot be adjusted is the how far back or forward you want it. To me it kind of sticks out to far forward which is why I don't feel its as comfortable as it could be. With that being said, it is capable of providing head, neck or upper back support depending on how you adjust it.Chair set up was extremely easy and the directions are easy to follow. Any tools that you need are included in the box which made it even easier.Overall, I feel that this is as good as it gets at this price range. Maybe there are chairs that provide better arm and head rests, but nothing will beat this comfortable back support. This chair is revolutionary in that sense and for me is what makes it worth it. I work an 8-5 and I do not feel any back pain throughout my whole shift Monday through Friday.Side Note: I am a 6' 2" tall male. This chair would probably be more ideal for tall people but I'm sure shorter people also would sit comfortably in it, with the right adjustments. This chair also might not be the best option for a big person as the seat is not really wide.

Excellent support with important caveat
The support provided by the chair is so good that, despite the flaws in the model I received, I still recommend the product with the caveat that you carefully inspect the parts prior to assembly.I purchased this after test-driving my boyfriend's Alpha; both of us weigh over 200 pounds, so it was important to find ergonomic chairs that actually support our weight and hip width. The chair is incredibly supportive for my back and assists me is sitting with good posture without tiring my core. The dual back rests are gamechangers, and they move with my back as I shift my weight/position throughout the day. I really do recommend this chair and think it is worth the money. The seat itself is comfortable, and I purchased this mesh seat rather than a foam seat because foam eventually loses integrity from compression; mesh mitigates this eventuality. However, here is the caveat: There were two problems with the chair that I noticed after assembling. You should carefully inspect the parts of your chair prior to assembly because the customer service represented indicated that while they could ship a replacement part, it can be difficult to disassemble the chair, with the possibility of causing further damage. The two problems I encountered are:A) There was a deep scratch on the plastic border at the front of the seat - this was a visual eyesore, plus a problem for women who wear pantyhose, stockings, tights or thin pants that can easily snag on the scratch and tear. However, since the assembly instructions require the user to assemble the chair upside down, I didn't see the scratch until I flipped the assembled seat/rollers into the upright position. Customer service ended up sending me a seat cover, so I don't see the flaw nor are my tights/stockings in danger of snagging on that scratch. They also refunded me $100 for the flaw.B) There are two holes in the fabric on one of the backrests. I didn't notice that until today (about a month after purchase) since the fabric is black and the tears blend in. Not sure what recourse I have at this point, but I do think replacing one backrest would be pretty straightforward and not as difficult as replacing the seat.Again, this is a gamechanging chair and I do recommend it, with the above caveat.
