15 Cell Phone Strap Black/Silver Tone Split Ring with Hooks

Excellent tool

I've not bought these before, but felt they may come in handy as some of my flash drives did not come with lanyards. I was able to use two of these right away.What I like about the Cell Phone lanyard with Lobster Claw Clasp:(1) Excellent Construction.I tested the two lanyards to see how well each was crimped in the barrel by giving the cords a slight tug. They were solidly placed. Then I tested the lobster claw clamps. Both were perfectly aligned and in perfect working order. The spring action in the clamp was nice and tight as it should be.(2) Hassle-free, Sensible Clasp.I can use the lobster claw clasp to hook the flash drive to my key ring and remove it easily without the trouble of breaking fingernails. There is no struggle to work it onto or off the key ring when I want to use it.(3) Reliable.Just to check myself on the product, I randomly tested five more lanyards from this package of 15. Everything is perfect.PS. My current cell phone does not have any slot for a lanyard, so I am unable to comment directly on that aspect of use.I can and do recommend this product. It is a lanyard I would purchase again as well as give as a gift. I've already given one away.March 2015 updateI'm still using these lobster claw lanyards. I mainly use them for my flash drives. I have also found them to be useful for keys, as well, when I need to add one key to my keychain, and I need to be able to easily remove it.

this item works well but is not extremely durable. I have been using them for a couple weeks and have broke 2 of them.update: after a few more weeks of use I have broken 2 more but I carry them in my pocket attached to my key chain so they are subject to some abuse.

So, I have a couple of camera and phone case straps that sometimes breaks. The area that breaks is just this single piece. So I was so happy to come across these hooks in a large pack and for a low price, Now I have extras on deck in case my straps wear out again.

These mini lanyards are great! They have a split-ring connection, which is much, much, sturdier than other brands that have jump rings only. (Jump rings are a wire circle that's not soldered closed.) Larger split rings are found on keychains. I connect these mini lanyards to USB thumb drives. Yes, other brands are less expensive, but I have lost items attached the type with jump rings because they pull open, even with gentle use. I've never lost items attached to the split ring type..

I wish I could find the words to describe just how significantly these have changed my life. In the Before Times, I had no hope of attaching things to my cell phone - or to anything, really. But now, thanks to 15 Cell Phone Strap Black/ Silver Tone Split Ring with Hooks, I'm attaching things to other things /constantly/.I'll let you in on a secret; what the title doesn't tell you is that cell phones aren't the only things you can attach these to. You can attach them to anything with a spot for attachments, from cell phones, to your Nintendo DS, to your Nintendo 3DS! Why just the other day, I attached a 3DS to another 3DS just to see if it would work, and you know what?It did.The versatility of this product knows no bounds, and to anyone who may be on the fence about the product, consider this a rousing recommendation. You'll never look at attaching things to other things the same way again.

I just got them today, and I mainly got them for the clasp part, not the string with the ring.. I made a separate order for the string and ring one that comes with a plug adapter..I actually noticed that these, with the clasp.. the clasp is good and it's VERY useful... but it comes with the string and the ring part.. and they are not made very well in comparison to the separate order I made.. they look very poor..The separate ones I ordered, however are very good.. and they do not look poorly made (They're both the same price too).So, I'm really only using the clasp part, rather than the string/ring part.. and I'll use the other ones I bought from a different product on amazon. They're under "Smartphone / Cell Phone Charm Adapter Plugs And Black Straps (10 Sets)".So, get this product for the clasp, and the product I just listed for the adapter plugs and the string part.The string and ring for this product that I'm rating does not look very useful, so don't use that part. Just buy this one for the clasp and that other one for the string/adapter like I did, and you should be fine!

Reading the other reviews, I'm not sure if some people got a "bad batch" or what, but I received exactly what is pictured and described. Sturdy black cord with a split ring and lobster clasp, there were actually 16 so I got an extra one which I have zero complaints about. They're perfect for the little resin charms I make for zippers and phone charms. Will order again when I need to. Thanks!

They are very practical for attaching it to USB keys, or cell phones... you decide what you can use them for!!!

The metal clasps on these Phone straps are flimsy. I broke half a dozen of them while testing them out.The strings aren't properly attached to the metal clasp so they fall off too. When I got the bag there were already broken straps, and after breaking /several/ I gave up and threw the whole bag out.
