RSVPInternational Endurance French Rolling Pin for Baking, 18", Stainless Steel

Beautiful marble, well made and it has a stand! My Grandmother had a rolling pin very similar to this and she made the BEST pie crusts and biscuits. I put the rolling pin in the refrigerator along with the other ingredients for my pie crust..give it about an hour for everything to chill well. Keeping things cold and working the dough as little as possible are key to flaky tender crusts. And this rolling pin handles everything easily. I don't have any issues with dough sticking to the pin as long as its cold. It also works very well with cookie dough, and any other dough I have put to it. I love it. Nice weight, not to heavy for arthritic hands, rolls easily and smoothly. I LOVE it! Fast delivery, well packaged.

This rolling pin is beautiful with the gray marble and silver handles. It works perfectly and is just what we wanted. The stand was damaged upon arrival but customer service has so far been very helpful and understanding in trying to help us. Will update if/when we get a new stand. It was a gift for my parents and they wanted the stand too. I'm sure you could do without it or use something else if necessary because the rolling pin itself is great! Appreciate the attentive customer service so far. Hopefully they can find a way to ship more securely in the future.

Absolutely love this rolling pin! It is of course much heavier than wood or plastic rolling pins so never having used anything else, the weight of it takes a little getting used to. It works beautifully though, and is beautiful in appearance. Perhaps not a worthy investment for the casual baker, but if you do a significant amount of baking you'll want to add a high quality rolling pin to your collection of tools and this one definitely fits the bill! I've used it for pizza dough, various cookie doughs, and pie crusts so far and it works wonderfully for all of them.

I could overlook the damaged base, if it weren't for the damage to the rolling pin itself.This is however a very nice rolling pin. It's nice and heavy and feels good in the hand.UPDATE: Contacted seller for a replacement and they were very easy to deal with. The replacement arrived in perfect condition. My wife loves this rolling pin.

I originally got this for my mother who wanted to make a massive amount of sugar cookies for the holidays. It seems to be of good quality, when we got it in it did have a slight chip in the roller itself, the base stand was fine, but the chip was not noticeable unless someone pointed it out. It was just the perfect size and weight to make some pretty darn good sugar cookies! And it was very easy to clean up the roller. My mother seemed to love it and now it has a place in her kitchen windowsill for when she is ready and rearing to go for one of her cookie making marathons! Overall, I would recommend this to others looking to add to a bakers arsenal of kitchen tools.

I bought this particular rolling pin because my friend, who’s a great baker, had a similar silicon pin she raved about. The silicon pin wasn’t available anymore but I wanted a material that wouldn’t stick to the dough.This is perfect as the rolling pin is made of smooth metal. I make a lot of quiches and the dough must be kept extra cold, so I put the rolling pin in the freezer for half an hour and it works great when I roll out the dough. Please be aware it’s quite long but it’s not too heavy, and you can also use it to roughly crush walnuts. It also looks very durable although I’ve only had it for a few weeks so I can’t speak to that part so much

I was afraid this rolling pin would be too heavy or not heavy enough, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it feels just right...I love that it is stainless steel, which I believe is easier to clean than the rolling pins my mothers and I used for generations! I haven't used it yet, but I doubt I will have any problems with it...

This is a heavy, well-manufactured rolling pin. I needed a rolling pin that was weighted and easy to clean. It is perfect for rolling beef jerky because it is heavy and rolls easily. I also like the fact that it is marble so I ca clean it without worrying about lingering bacteria from raw meat.

Like you, I scroll through amazon reviews before purchasing, and I very nearly skipped this roller because of people talking about it arriving chipped. Well, I got mine today and don't know how that could be possible - it's packed very securely. Couldn't be happier.

La base del rodillo llegó rota al igual que la Caja original donde venía el rodillo, extremos de las manijas rayadas, lamentablemente me quedo con el producto porque no hay otro distribuidor Que maneje algo similar a esto adjunto imágenes para que vean el producto maltratado

Ce manipule très bien. Tourne bien.Très satisfaite de mon achat. Très beau en plus. Un peu plus pâle que sur les photos ce qui est encore mieux pour moi.

The product is damaged, AGAIN! After I received the first one I found out that my rolling pin is already damaged, and I returned it. Then I though the product should be awesome if it's not damaged. Maybe it's just me being unlucky. Then I order the second one. After receiving it I found that it is EVEN WORSE! The holder for the rolling pin is already break into ash! The rolling pin it self is not that bad but still there are some scratches on both metal handle. Technically it's useable but when I buy the product, I expect to be brand new. Not a scratched second-hand looked like rolling ping with a few ash and some small piece of marble . So if any of you want this item, I recommend get it from the retailer, or just wish yourself good luck and get it from Amazon.

Extremely disappointed because this wasn't a cheap item but the packaging was cheap the box looks cheap and the rolling pin is chipped on the side.
