The Official Sat Subject Test In Chemistry Study Guide (College Board Official Sat Study Guide)

BUY THIS BOOK IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO TAKE THE SAT CHEMISTRY SUBJECT TEST!!! I'm an AP Chemistry teacher who preps her students for the SAT subject test. I can't understand why anyone would give this only one star. You need to buy a review book from another company as well as this book if you are a student prepping for the Chemistry Subject Test and haven't taken AP Chemistry. This book contains two of the most recent actual tests given, which gives a student a much better idea of whether they know how to answer the types of questions the CollegeBoard will test. There are 4 more additional old SAT Chemistry/Achievement/II tests that have been published. Do an online search for SAT Subject Test Chemistry forms 3KAC2, 3EAC, 3PAC7, and 3YAC2. If you buy this book and can find the other 4 tests online, you will have 6 tests previously administered by the CollegeBoard for SAT Chemistry. If a student has taken AP Chemistry and also uses these practice tests, that should be enough review to get a score over 700 on the actual exam.

Those tests are actual tests administered by the College Board. Extremely helpful so you can check your knowledge after prep. The test included in the prep books are not accurate and not well written. Use the prep books to learn the stuff but then use these tests for practice.

The SAT subject test in Chemistry has not change since I took it as the "Achievement Test" over 40 years ago. Similar materials can be found online on various test prep websites, for free.In the description, it is listed as a 200-page book but the actual book as only about 115 pages with a few bubble grid answer sheets at the end. There is about 30 sample questions in addition to the two practice tests.

Yes, there are 2 tests in here that were never previously released.

Practicing yourself is easier using this book.

My son benefited from practicing with these 2 official tests and I recommend them for practice. But why not include more for your money? After all, the math 1 book also published by the College Board included 4 official tests. The fact that there are only 2 here is disappointing.

Basically just 2 previous real Chemistry tests. Not for studying; just practice tests.

This book doesn’t meet your needs. Not what I expected out of this book published by the collegeboard itself. It’s not value for money. I’d suggest you to buy the princeton review or kaplan instead.It doesn’t hold a good study material. It does consists of papers, but you can get them from the books written above WITH the study material at a cheaper price.
