Thomas Edison and His Bright Idea (Penguin Young Readers, Level 3)

I used this book for homeschooling. It is great information that is age appropriate.

We are enjoying the Penguin Young Reader Series. We are choosing books about history and invention. Our son is dyslexic and he practices reading a book each day for 5 days before reading it to his grandparents on Saturday mornings. The stories keep him captivated and the grandparents enjoy hearing him read the book. He has grown as a reader. We are looking forward to moving to level 4.

I purchased this book for my second graders for book reports. It has cute pictures and the right amount of text for book reports. I work for a private school so our children are excellent readers. Public schools may want this book for 2nd and 3rd grades. I'd say it is well done. The quality of the paperback book is good.

Love the book! I am a teacher and I am always looking for lower reader levels for my lower students.

Kind of boring- It felt like they had a certain number of pages they had to write and included too much. It could've been a much better book if it was shorter.
