Customer service that made a difference
I ordered this tablet, not because I knew the company, but because it offered the most for the asking price. This is the second tablet, the first one started giving me problems just after my return window had closed.I emailed support, they sent an update that I could not installed because the tablet kept restarting every 15 seconds. Support went silent on me, I felt totally ignored until I sent what I thought would be my last email. This was answered by someone going by the name of Crystal. She stuck by me until a new tablet was in my hands which took about one week. The tablet is solid, rigid and well made, but the five stars is really for Crystal and the excellent customer service that was provided.

good tablet until half the screen started to be a few shades dimmer.
i think this thing is really good for many reasons but the screen has started wigging out. the top half looses brightness periodically. i turn it on and i don't know if its going to be messed up or not i just bought this months ago so why. anyway, aside from this its really better than any other tablet ive had. teclast customer service referred me to a different customer service without contact info(cant contact someone with a way of doing it, clever) i think this will be the last teclast product i ever see, of course my family and friend wont purchase teclast either, hopefully no one else gets the shaft for trying teclast.

This is my ideal tablet
I bought this recently, a pre-black Friday discount. I haven't had many tablets, for years I've been using a 10" Fire tablet and it's good for reading comics and ebooks, but it's OS is lacking in gaming options. I needed to get an Android tablet and I wanted something powerful, and this delivers.8gbs of RAM is a big selling point, it's not just fast, the RAM gives you a lot with having multiple apps run nicely at the same time. It has plenty of internal storage, and I did get an SD card on sale to load up on comics and retro games so internal storage can focus on apps. It's been great for my games. For years I've had the Android versions of Planescape Torment, and recently got the other Infinity Engine RPGs, but on a phone, it's hard to pick the right dialog. On a 10" tablet, it's the perfect screen size for these classic computer games. And it's fun too with the games that aren't too big for a phone, I've been hooked on Dragon Quest 5 all over again. And Android has emulators for everything, but PS2 and GameCube games run rough, not recommended there, but PSP, DS, and consoles up to PS1 run perfectly. I'm even decent with Tekken 3 on a touch screen now.It has 5G Wi-Fi on it's perfect. There is a Sim card slot tray (it's one side for that and the other side for an SD card) so it's possible to get it on your mobile plan, but I don't think I'd need to.The tablet has a 2K resolution screen, but I haven't really made the most of it, playing so many retro and mobile games. But I do have most of premium streaming services. But it's a great quality screen and I've been reading a lot of comic books on it, it's a terrific tablet for reading anything. And the battery life is as great as advertised, plus when it says fast charging, they really mean it. Overall I have no complaints. It's the best tablet I've owned, and well worth the price, especially when brands like Samsung have ones with the same specs that cost over twice as much, just because of the brand name.

First impressions are positive and we'll see how they last.
I've only had my T40 Pro for 2 days, but it arrived in nice condition and was very easy to set up and personalize for my likes. It replaces my old Asus 10.1" tablet, which was running out of battery life, and slowing down too much to enjoy its use. There are a few minor bugs I've noticed with the device, including a somewhat unreliable face unlock feature. Alternately, I set it to "trusted location" unlock in my home which also usually required me to use my numerical code to unlock it anyway. Other than that, it is much faster than my old unit and runs quite smoothly with all my apps. I found that I could not get a satisfactory installation of the tempered glass screen protectors I bought, as the screen seems to be slightly convex so the glass overlay wants to lift along all the outer edges. I can't speak for this being the case with every T40, but if you purchase one, wait till you have it in hand and place a straight edge on the screen before wasting your money on tempered glass. I will update as I get more time with this product, but for now is seems very good for the price I paid.

An awesome tablet with only one complaint.
The problem with this tablet is there is no earphone jack. If you would never use an earphone jack then it's perfectly fine. The radio feature does not work without plugging in headphones. There is a drawing pencil that can be plugged into the earphone Jack that I would have liked to try.The tablet is very responsive, quick, has a lot of storage, and great battery life. It's a great tablet for the price. The only drawback is trying to find accessories for it. Their case option was boring, and I wanted a keyboard and case combo, so I had to get a generic case, which covers the camera. :(When I started the tablet it worked pretty well, but not long after my consistent use it started glitching. It glitched the most during screen rotation by freezing up. One time I had plugged it in and when I got the sound and charging notification it continued every second to tell me that it was charging. Like a scratched vinyl record. After that I decided to try a factory reset, and I have not had an issue with it since. It's perfect.I can't comment on the cellular, because I haven't tried that yet.One surprise I did get was that it came with a screen protector already on it. All I needed to do was pull back the top layer of film, and it was all set. That was great! It came in a very nice package with the cord.Minus one star for the lack of earphone jack and glitching. I would definitely recommend this tablet for someone on a budget.
