I love that it's battery-operated, which makes it super convenient and portable. I’ve never owned a pencil sharpener with different sharpening settings before, and I absolutely love this feature. It allows me to choose the perfect sharpness for my pencils every time. Plus, it’s so satisfying to actually watch the pencil being sharpened through the clear casing. Overall, this sharpener is efficient, easy to use, and a great addition to my workspace!

I love this pencil sharpener. It has three levels of sharpness and works well every time. It is easy to empty the shavings when it fills up. I've been using it with batteries but the USB cord works well too.

This sharpener is awesome! I do a lot of coloring with colored pencils and this works great! Love the ability to be charged as well as using batteries!

There are 3 different levels of sharpening. It is small and fits well on my desk. Low noise, plenty of storage, sharpens good when plugged in only. Speed is good and value is okay. The 3 stars is because if you only use 4 AA batteries it does not work! It is not portable unless you can plug it in. I was disappointed in that part.

I was super excited because it looked like there were a lot of good reviews, but I bought it at the end of the school year to start using this school year so my 30 days are over, and it doesn’t work either plugged in or with fresh batteries. It just does not work.

Works great. If it doesn't work for you using the USB cord, make sure your power block has enough power. I used a 5W one it did't work. Then I tried a 9W one and it worked.

Who knew Amazon Basics was just what the Teacher ordered?! I was looking for a pencil sharpener for the kids as I was growing tired of buying individual sharpeners they'd end up break8ng or losing. This is the perfect solution. Right out the box I put it to work! Sharpened a stack of colored pencils. It stops automatically once the pencils sharpened. It doesn't continue to shred it down like some of the others which is great! It's not big and noisy. The top is secure. In order to empty it you have to push in on 2 sides to lift it up. This prevents accidental spills. The item doesn't come with a power adapter for the USB cord provided. It can be operated with 4 AA batteries. The USB cord did not have a twist tie around it. I added a tie for personal preference (organization). Do I recommend? Yes! Don't hesitate. Buy! This item is great for the price.

I was looking for a sharpener for my colored pencils and searched up through Amazon to find this one! It's convenient and I love how you can change the sharpness for the pencil (really helpful for working with my colored pencils). Just plug it in and your good to go! Just remember to clean it once in a while!
