Ghirardelli Double Chocolate Premium Hot Cocoa, 10.5 Ounce - 6 per case.

I have been buying this cocoa for years. Some time ago, it became unavailable in the grocery stores in my area. I found it on Amazon and I am so happy. I add it to my morning coffee and it gives it just the flavor I crave.

I've been hooked on Ghirardelli chocolates since my first (and so far only) trip to San Francisco in 1988. I rarely by any other chocolate candy; so when I saw their hot cocoa mix in my local grocery store a few years ago, I knew I had to try it. I haven't used any other since! This double chocolate mix is my favorite, but the mocha flavor is good too.It's a little expensive, but for my money and tastebuds, it's worth it!

I received a small sample of this in a mug a few years ago as a gift and I haven’t gone back to other hot chocolate’s since. Unfortunately this is hard to find in stores and I hope it’s not being discontinued. I ordered 6 bags recently since I couldn’t find any available as singles. It’s very chocolaty and great value for the money. Spare yourself watery versions from stores and make your own on the stovetop with whole milk and this mix.

I mix this about 60/40 with Nestle Rich Milk Chocolate powder to make a nice cup of cocoa. I find organic whole milk to be best if you like it thick and full of flavor. Add more of the Ghirardelli for a darker taste. Perfect to warm up the insides on a chilly evening.
